Q: I have just 2 more questions.

1. Can the 3rd level be configured to be a javascript vertical menu?

2. Can your menu be configured per the following spec? Once you click on a 3rd level option that level would disappear & the 1st & 2nd level would be breadcrumbed (stay visible to show you where you are).

A: 1) Yes you can do it. Use smOrientation parameter in IndividualSubmenu Styles:

2) No, it is not possible now. Your 3rd level submenu will be visible too.

Q: The problem that I am still experiencing (Im sure I have missed something obvious!) - is that all the pages open when you click on the relevant links but they always open with the "About Us" tab showing and then as soon as you click on a different tab you see it highlight for a second and then it just reverts back to the About Us tab even though the page has changed. As the site opens I obviously want the first tab to be highlighted as opposed to the 2nd one and the each page highlights and holds as you go through the menu.

That is why "About us" tab is selected.
You should change the selected tab depending on the page you are now.

This Tabs menu can save pressed item automatically within1 page only. If you open another page, the menu can't remember presseditem. You should do that manually using Javascript and menu parameters(  var bselectedItem) or using any server-side script (php, asp, etc.)

Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab.

If your site is written on PHP you can set "bselectedItem" parameter based on your link beforeyou call tabs-kasper.js file.

For example, move "bselectedItem" parameter from tabs-kasper.js file to yourcode.

Q: Where do I increase the width of the javascript menu bars for each entry? Some of my links are a bit longer than the image and it's causing it to use part of another gif to cover it. Sorry not sure if I even explained that right. Let me know if this makes sense.

A: I suppose that you're using Vista style templates.

The width of vista images is 94px. If the width of your menu itemis wider than 94px you should correct the width of the images in anygraph editor, for example in Photoshop. You should set the width ofthese images 120px and set the following parameter:

Q: Now, I need your help in another question: I can set "tpressedFontColor" to have the font of the active item in the dhtml tree menu take this color.

How can I make the onmouseover - background ("titemBackImage" of the individual style set in the item parameters) of the menu item also be saved in the active, selected dhtml tree menu item? I need to build a menu with different background-images (shown on mouseover and when active) for each item, so I cannot set ONE "titemBackImage" that fits for all.

A: Unfortunately it is not possible now to set background color orbackground image for the selected state. Deluxe tree doesn't have sucha feature now.

But we'll try to add this feature in the next versions of Deluxe Tree.
