Q: Does your product generate the page code or is t a dll I have to use? Reason I ask is because we store our menu stuff with image references in a db. If your product outputs code for the menu, then I can use that and in my own code I can place/substitute values and work with it from there.

A: We have an .exe file - Deluxe tuner.
It generates .js files with menu parameters.
You can also export your menu to .html file.

You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.
However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so, you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:

Q: I am evaluating your menu product - very nice! However, I am relatively new to HTML, though a long time software developer, just not HTML!

My question - is it possible to have the menu be in a table cell and have the menu resize based on the cell width, if the cell width is specified in percent (%).

For example, if I have a table and I have a first column that is set at 15% of the width of the table, can I insert a menu in that cell and have it fill the cell?

A: Try to set 100% width for the menu.

Q: I test your free menu before buy but I have a question.

Is it possible to integrate a font in the dhtml menu creator which was not on the internaute system ?

I want to customize my menu with change the font, but this font is not on the system with default.

How link my menu with a new font?

A: If you want to use unusual font for your menu you should create imagesfor each item with text and use it in your menu.

Actually you can choose any font installed on your computer in the dhtml menu creator, but this font won't work on your website.



Q: Is there a way to center floatable menus horizontally on a page?
I used to use absolutePos=0, and all of my menus were centered ok, but when I tried floatable=1 I found that I had to change toabsolutePos=1 to get the menu to float, and this messed up my centering. Since I have multiple menus of different widths, I'd rather not have to hard-code the menu width, but please let me know if there's a better way.


A: Notice, when you use floatable menu you can't use relative menu position.
So, if you use

  var absolutePos = 0;

and to center the menu you use <p> or <div> with the center alignment your menu won't float.
To center your floatable menu you should set absolute coordinates.
