Q: It works almost ok BUT without the use of Deluxe Tuner. It seems NOT to be able to provide such results for the creation of popups when a link is clicked (not when a page is loaded). On top of that, what am I supposed to enter in the actions tab in the popup generator?
And what is more, when I click on the 1st link I get a fine sample but when I click on the 2nd one, background colour of the 1st link appears for a about second. How do I get rid of that?

For example you want to open a popup onMouseover, onClick oronMouseout on a link.
So, you should create a link on your page and set id="" for it, forexample:
<a href="javascript:;" id="link">Open popup OnClick</a>
<a href="javascript:;" id="over">Open popup OnMouseover</a>
<a href="javascript:;" id="out">Open popup OnMouseOut</a>
In Deluxe Tuner you should set:
onMouseOver - over
onMouseOut - out
onClick - link
So you'll have
deluxePopupWindow.attachToEvent(win,',,onClick=link,onMouseOver=over,onMouseOut=out,')

You have such effect because you use fade-effect for your popupwindows.Q: I would like to create navigation menu where the background is transparent until you move the mouse over itwhen it turns to a color. I erased the first color number from the list and that worked, but when I scrolled the mouse over the links, the background stayed light blue even though the mouse was no longer over them. Is there a way to let the background start transparent, turn light blue when the mouse is over it, then go back to transparent after the mouse is off it?
A: You can use transparent parameter, for example:
var itemBackColor=["transparent","#4792E6"];
Q: I have just bought the software and created a first menu.
As you can see the sub-menus appear away for the menu/navigation bar.
This doesnТt happen when I put the code into an .html file without any divs.
Can you suggest what the problem might be here?
A: The problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
In other words, you can't get the value of "position" attribute of the object if the object doesn't have this property within inline style(style="position:absolute"). To get the value you should move .css style into style="" attribute.
Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css, for example:
You should add <DIV id=nav_bar_main>
to the
style="position:absolute;"
So, you'll have:
<DIV id=nav_bar_main style="position:absolute;">
Check that.
Q: I am evaluating 'Deluxe Tree' and have the following question: Is it possible, and how can I hide a dhtml pop menu branch, that only shows up if user logs in with a certain password. The intent is to only make some menu branches visible to and accessible to 'superuser'.
A: Put the special script on each page of site that will open appropriate section.
