Q: I have the dynamic dropdown menu working perfectly on the main page of the website, but when I try to install it onto html files that appear in subfolders of the site, the images do not appear. I have put ../ before all the links I can find and have the following codes placed in my file, what am I doing wrong?
A: You can use additional parameters to make dynamic dropdown menu paths absolute:
var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";
These parameters allow to make images and links paths absolute.For example:
var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";
var menuItems = [
["text", "index.html", "icon1.gif", "icon2.gif"],
];
So, link path will be look so:
http://domain.com/pages/index.html
Images paths will be look so:
http://domain.com/images/icon1.gif
http://domain.com/images/icon2.gif
Please, try to use these parameters.
Q: I would like to know does deluxe menu support Unicode characters? I have enter some Chinese texts through deluxe tuner and I can preview those Chinese text in deluxe tuner preview panel. I have chose "use utf8 encode"already. However after I saved the .js file, the js file encode become ANSI and those Chinese texts in the js file become ?????. Can deluxe tuner autosave the file to UTF8 encode?
A: Please, check that you've set "Tools/Use utf8 encode".
When you save your data file in UTF8 you should use the same encoding on our html page.
So you should write:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
If you don't want to use UTF-8 encode on your page you should turn off"Tools/Use utf8 encode" property, save your data file and manuallychange your letters in any text editor.Q: The page that I am creating lists out notes from our system - there is a "options" button to the right of each note - when the cursor hovers over this button I want to dynamically load the drag drop menu.

Q: Hello we have a javascript menu on our site. I want to know howcan we have our vertical drop menu appear for people who do not have javascript enabled on their computer? The problem is whenever someone doesn't have javascript enabled on their computer we get a lot of errors on our stats page for missing menu images. Please let me know how we can eliminate this situation.
A: When your security settings in IE doesn't allow Javascript onpages you load you can't see a dynamic page content. So, you cannotsee your javascript menu at all.
There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in othercase there are no reasons to create security preferences.
You can use search engine friendly code, so you'll see all yourlinks (for the main items and submenus) when your security settings in IE doesn't allow Javascript.

To create a search engine friendly menu you should add additional html code within your html page:
