Q: I need to create a pop-up menu triggered from a flash movie button. Is this possible, and if so, do you have any documentation on this? (coding for flash button, etc)


A: Unfortunately you cannot assign OnClick or OnContextMenu event forflash file.


Q: Does this cross browser menu support only english menus or I can make an english and russian menus as well with deluxe menu multiple license?

A: Actually you can use any language in the cross browser menu.

Check that you've set "Tools/Use utf8 encode" in Deluxe Tuner.



Q: I recently upgraded to the new version. Now I am having a problem with the javascript navigation width. I have the main menu set it 98% using the Deluxe Tuner but it only shows it on my web page at about 25%. I can’t seem to get it to change. I have opened the js file and it is showing 98% but still showing at 25% on web page. I am using a floatable horizontal menu with submenus. Can you think of anywhere else I need to check/check a width setting?

A: Check that you haven't set itemWidth parameter in your styles, for example:

Q: I am interested in purchasing the developer license for Deluxe menu, but I wanted to see if I can use the trial version to accomplish what I need. You have an example of what I need on http://deluxepopupwindow.com/ ("click here to open window"). I would like to click on a navigation menu link and have a pop up window linking to a url.

I got as far as being able to link the website in the pop up, but not exactly sure how you make a link that you can click to display the pop up.

A: Delete 'openAfter=' at all from deluxePopupWindow.attachToEventfunction:

deluxePopupWindow.attachToEvent(win,',,,,,')

In that case popup window won't show till you click on the link.
