Q: How do I control the individual tab width for afloat tabs?

I have 5 items in my example, so I've created Individual Style

And assign it for all items:

But notice that items width cannot be smaller than the width of its'text.
So it is possible that you'll have different size of some itemsif your window have a small size.

Q: Can I use an Item in the html menu for text and get the text to wrap within a predefined menuWidth ?

A: You should set the following parameter:

  var noWrap = 0;

or use <br> tags within menuItems.

Q: Is there a way to hide a menu options in the navigation menu using either CSS or the java api based on the site user?

You can try to use API functions in that case:

function dm_ext_changeItemVisibility (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, visibility)

To disable items you should set the target parameter to "_".

You can try to use the following function

function disable() {
dm_ext_changeItem(0, 1, 1, ["", "", "", "", "", "_"]);
}
to disable your items.




Q: I've been using your application for about 2 years but have never been able to insert a vertical divider in dhtml menu source.


A: You should set a separator in the menuItems, for example:
