  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! You can also specify height and width for each separate submenu.

Q: I am having a lot of trouble trying to get the menu to work properly. I want to make sure that I get it working before I make the licesning purchase.

The menu is to be CSS based but while I have the main menu somewhat in location, none of the settings are correct. Can you help?


A: See, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
To get the value you should move .css style into style="POSITION: relative;" attribute.

Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css

Try to write so:
<DIV id=if-navbar style="POSITION: relative;">


Q: Shouldn’t the dhtml expand menu know what page you are on and expand accordingly?
Or would you need to ‘hard code’ each page to be expanded basedon that page?

A: You should set the following parameter
  var ttoggleMode=1;

Deluxe Tree doesn't save a presseditem as it saves a tree state. It works within 1 page only and if youreload the page you should set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dtreet_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, itemID)

To expand specific items you should use API function
function dtreet_ext_expandItem (itemID, expand)

Try that.

Q: When set up link by using Tuner app, it point to different dir.
For example I set to: c:\test(HTMLfolder)\Test Link\IntrAC-DC.swf,
then Tuner sets:    ["|||||Item b SWF","Test Link/IntrAC-DC.swf", , , , "_parent", , , , ],
It does not work until I move linked files to “c:\test(HTMLfolder)\data-samples\Test Link”


A: Try to set the following parameters

Q: Is there a way to expand only the menus and not the submenus in the collapse tree menu?

A: You can set expanded items by default.

If you want to expand specific items by default you should set "+"symbol at the beginning of item text.
