Q: I am evaluating your fine menu builder application.
Please let me know the following:
a) How could I call a script instead of specifying a link?

b) If the above is possible, please let me know how, in the called script, I could know where the call to the script come from.
A: You can use your own javascript functions in the menu items.
You should paste "javascript:some_function()" into item's link field, for example:
var menuItems = [
["text", "javascript:your_function(...)", ...]
];
Q: In IE first tab of tabbed navigation is coming selected but in firefox it is not coming selected.
A: Check the following parameters:
var bselectedItem=0; //top items
var bselectedSmItem=1; //submenus
Notice that all indexes starts with 0.
Q: Thank you for your reply. I have run the example sent by you. Your dhtml menu example has horizontal menus and it hides all the menus.
But I am using xp vertical menu. In that I have Home,Sales,Customer Support,Reports,Access Control menus.
For Admin login I need all the menus including submenus.
But for employee login i need Home , Sales, Customer Support menus and i need only few sub menus only.
Please help me with this issue.
A: You can try to use API functions in that case:
function dm_ext_changeItemVisibility (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, visibility)

Q: If need to make changes do I need to replace all the files and folder and script in all the web pages? Or are there just one or two files that need to be replaced? Which files or folders?
A: You need to change only your data.js (by default) file. It is thefile with your menu parameters.
Then you should upload this file on your server and may be add somenew images. That is all.
