Q: Hello, I am interesting in purchasing your product, but first I need to know if it is possible to call a JavaScript function from the menu.  I have read the FAQ and noted where it lists that you can perform an alert call, and that worked on my end as well, but when I attempted to call a function I created I could not get it to respond.  Is it possible to call a function from your menu?  Could I get an example?


A: You can write your own functions within menuItems, for example:

Q: I place all of my files in folders.  If I want the Deluxe menu to work I have to have the Deluxe menu saved in each folder for it to work with the files inside those folders. 


A: There is no need to copy al files for the menu in each folder.

To install the menu you can use such paths:

You can use additional parameters to make menu paths absolute:

  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

These parameters allow to make images and links paths absolute.
For example:

  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

  var menuItems = [
["text", "index.html", "icon1.gif", "icon2.gif"],
];

So, link path will be look so:
http://domain.com/pages/index.html

Images paths will be look so:
http://domain.com/images/icon1.gif
http://domain.com/images/icon2.gif

Q: I have one more question. I built the menu using Deluxe Tuner.
I cannot find where to change the mouse over color from blue to something more appropriate in my drop down menu templates. Can you tell me where to do this?


A: You should change the second color in the following parameter:

  var itemBackColor=["#FCEEB0","#65BDDC"];


Q: I'm looking for a menu system that can be placed in a cell. I think is easy and fast way to make pages. Is is possible with your product?
