Q: Is there a way to make the vertical drop down menu dhtml not reset after a link is clicked. Now every time I click a link in the tree menu it takes me to the linked page but all the menus re-expand.

A: When user clicks the link, the browser loads a new page and the script re-create the vertical drop down menu dhtml.
If you want to open the needed section automatically on load you can use the following:

1. Save the state to cookies

  var tsaveState=0;

2. Use frames

3. Put the special script on each page of site that will open appropriate section.

Q: When I export the file sometimes the links doesn't work in css tabbed menu


A: See, you can use links if you have
  var tabMode=1;
only.

If you have
  var tabMode=0;

You should use the ID of the DIV.

But you can try to open your pages using different targets in thefollowing way

["tab text", "javascript: window.open('test.html', 'frameName')", ...],
["tab text", "javascript: window.open('http://deluxe-tabs.com/test.html', '_self')", ...],
["tab text", "javascript: window.open('html/test.html', '_blank')", ...],

Where frameName - the name of the frame where to open the page test.html.

Using this method you can create Deluxe Tabs in  var tabMode=0; and   var tabMode=1;


Q: I would like two level of tabs i.e.

Tab 1 entertainment

Opens up another level of tabs
Tab 1_2 movies with information displayed in the tab not on new page
Tab 1_3 music with information displayed in the tab not on new page
Tab 1_4 tv and so on...


A: Unfortunately, you cannot do it using Deluxe Tabs in TabMode. Youcannot use object ID to show in TabMode, only links.

You can use 2 menus:

Tab 1 entertainment //1st menu
--------DIV----------------------
Tab 1_2 Tab 1_3 Tab 1_4 //2nd menu
----------DIV's for second menu--------------

Q: If i use windows tree menu and published on my web site it is default all menu and submenu areopened . I want that all menu is default closed if user click on main menu itwill be opened submenu. Please wich parameters i have to change. Please help me

A: You should set the following parameter:
  var texpanded=0;

Check also that you don't have '+' sign before item's text in the top items, for example:
["+Home","", "", "", "", "", "", "0", "", ],
...
["+Item1","", "", "", "", "", "", "0", "", ],
