A: You need to change only your data.js (by default) file. It is thefile with your menu parameters.
Then you should upload this file on your server and may be add somenew images. That is all.


Q: I have looked through the FAQS on your site, but can’t find a clear answer to this questions:

Can a menu submenu dhtml be triggered to an open state upon onload?

I can get the top level menu over state to show, but the drop downs won’t open.

A: Unfortunately it is not possible to highlight the pressed menu submenu dhtml itemin Deluxe Menu now. You can highlight the top items only.



Q: I am having a problem creating a submenu. I did not get any js errors but nothing happens.

What I have found is that even when I have dynamic=1;
I was getting an error saying object expected so I added the dmenu_dyn.js manually (i.e. <scripttype="text/javascript"src="../../Javascript/menu/dmenu_dyn.js"></script>) but now get no errors but no submenu is created.

Do I have to add all the js files in the menu folder manually as I thought it was just
<scripttype="text/javascript"src="../../Javascript/menu/dmenu.js"></script>
that was needed.

All, I am trying to add a submenu under the challenge topmenu.

A: There is no need to add all engine files into your menu folder.
You can add only
dmenu.js
dmenu_dyn.js

Please delete also the following line from your code
<script type="text/javascript"src="../../Javascript/menu/dmenu_dyn.js"></script>

Try that.


Q: I am having a difficult time trying to integrate your menu into a frame system of my clients. The url that I am testing at is...

I believe that I have followed your instructions to the letter, but can't seem to get the cross-frame system to work. Any help would be appreciated.


A: Please, check dmWorkPath parameter. You should write in the followingway:

<SCRIPT type=text/javascript>  var dmWorkPath = "nav_011907_files/";</SCRIPT>

See also how you should write your dm_init function
dm_initFrame("frmSet", 1, 2, 1);

Please, notice also that Deluxe Menu can work within 1 frameset only.
It can't work correctly within nested framesets. It is possible that you'll havesome errors.
