  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! You can also specify height and width for each separate submenu.

Q: I'm trying to evaluate the possiblity of using your menu in our product. Can we specify our own onclick event handler for the menu item?


A: You're able to use Javascript for each item, for example:

];

Unfortunately, you can't assign onmouseover/onClick event to each item.
However, you can achieve this by using standard html objects within items, for example:

  var menuitems = [
["<div onClick='your_code_here'>item text</div>", "index.html"]
];


Q: I am in the process of building this site, but as you will see the menu text is showing on the top menue, but not the javascript hide menu itself.

A: You forgot to upload engine files on you server.
That is why you see search engine friendly code for the javascript hide menu only:

A: You can try to use Deluxe Menu - this is a newer version of DHTMLMenu. You can use the following parameters there:
