Simple drop menu appears to be displaying OK (centered) when using Internet Explorer 7.0, but I can't move it below the header. Also when I access the same sample page using FireFox Browser, the Navigation Bar aligns on the Top-left. Ideally, the navigation bar shall be displaying below the header and centered.

A: You are using absolute position for the menu now. You should userelative position if you want to center your menu. Set the followingparameter:

  var absolutePos=0;



Q: I am looking to get the Floating to work for the flash drop down menu.



A: To enable floating feature you should set the following parameters:

  var absolutePos=1;

  var floatable=1;

Check also that you have dmenu_add.js file in the same folder withdmenu.js file.




Q: I wonder if you can help me. I've uploaded all my files, including the menus to the client site.
All the menus were working fine, where each link was targeted to the frame "mainFrame" in the middle of the page. This morning, all the css javascript menu link targets don't work anymore. That is, the targeting info has not changed but the linked pages are opening up as a _parent page -- that is, replacing the entire page.


A: You should use absolute paths.

These parameter allows to make links paths absolute.
For example:

  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

];

So, link path will be look so:
http://domain.com/pages/index.html

If you don't want to create your menu on each page, you can try to useframes, the menu has a cross-frame mode.
Also you can use aserver-side script (php, asp, vb, etc.) to generate html pages fromtemplates on your server.
