Q: I think that your product is great makes everything look nice and professional with the drop down menu Items. My question is I have certain menu Items that I will need to disable at certain times. I do this now using a standard button and grabbing my parameters from an SQL database. Is there a way for me to basically pull which menu items I need disabled and present the customized menu for each client. I have read that your product has this ability I was looking for a little guidance or maybee a write up on someone that has done this.


A: Unfortunately, Deluxe Menu doesn't have such a feature.
You should write your own code, for example, on PHP.

You can try to use the following function

function disable() {
dm_ext_changeItem(1, 1, 1, ["", "", "", "", "", "_"]);
}
to disable your items.

Q: Will the Tabs Tuner allow you edit/specify the color schemes on the Glass style tabs?
Does this apply for all the styles as well? ( need to match corporate colors,etc.) Thanks!


A: No unfortunately you cannot change it's color.
This is the image basemenu.
So you should create new images with your own color and use them.

We'll try to create more templates.


Q: The first is that for some reason my item separator image will not show. I have tried everything.. and no matter what I do the image will not show. I designed a graphic that is 2 pixels high and is the width of the total menu. The first problem is that the graphic wont show at all.. and I do not know why. Secondly, I am now thinking that I would like to use the separator graphic on all levels of the menu.. but this creates a another issue.. as the width of the submenus varies based on the length of the text displayed. How then can I have a separator image work in the submenus?


A: Try to write you Item Styles so:

You didn't paste separator into your menuItems.

Q: Do you have a version where the javascript expand menu does not disappear when someone clicks on it?


A: If you set the value <-1 of smHidePause parameter
your submenus won't be hidden at all, untill you reload your page.
