  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! I'm using the Navigation BAR TABS. What should I do in order to link one of the horizontal drop menu tabs to the following object 'BLOG' as in the following example / piece of code. (When the user selects one specific tab, a blog should be displayed.

You can use Object ID as well as Link in both modes. Use the following prefixes within item's link field:

"object:" - means that there is object id after it;
"link:" - means that there is a link after it.
"javascript:" - means that there is a javascript code after it, for example:javascript:alert(\'Hello!\')

So, you should write for example:

Q: I am trying the menu and facing one problem…

The text is too large and doesn't wrap around.. instead it makes the dhtml menu layers wider.

My dhtml menu layers needs to be 175 px only.. if there are to many characters in the link, I like it to wrap around to the next line…

Any options?

A: You should set the following dhtml menu layers parameter:

  var noWrap=0;

You can also use standard <br> tags inside item's text:

Q: Also I wanted the sub menus stack up and I could not find in Deluxe Turner Demo HTML version
how to make the submenu in the simple drop-down menu stack up instead of rendering horizontal.

A: You should use the following parameter:

Q: Our default directory for the files is menudir
How do we get the software to recognize this default directory when generating the script and support files. The default needs to be added for the icon files etc.


A: You can use additional parameters to make menu paths absolute:

  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

These parameters allow to make images and links paths absolute.
For example:

  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

];

So, link path will be look so:
http://domain.com/pages/index.html

Images paths will be look so:
