  • Build right-click menus for your site. For this purpose you should appoint a peculiar method for the object you want. The current X,Y of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the context menu.
  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. To view all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automagically scrolled! Q: Shouldn’t the dhtml expand menu know what page you are on and expand accordingly?
Or would you need to ‘hard code’ each page to be expanded basedon that page?

A: You should set the following parameter
  var ttoggleMode=1;

Deluxe Tree doesn't save a presseditem as it saves a tree state. It works within 1 page only and if youreload the page you should set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dtreet_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, itemID)

To expand specific items you should use API function
function dtreet_ext_expandItem (itemID, expand)

Q: I did not make anything complex - simply added a couple of menu items. As you may see the java swing popup menu being expanded overlaps with the rest of the table. I guess I am just not doing something right since it is a trivial case ...

A: Now you're using absolute position for the menu:

  var tabsolute=1;

You should use relative position.



Q: I use your licensed deluxe menu and I got a customer specific issue:

Is it possible to set no background color for the menus first level and a background color for all submenus?

I couldn't find a parameter to set different variables for main level and sublevels...

Q: I have been playing around with the demo version 2.4 of deluxe tabs, and have a couple of questions & comments:

Deluxe Tabs appears to not work at all on Windows Vista machines running Internet Explorer. This includes for example that the content in the dhtml tabs simply does not appear. Is there a fix for this?

Just want to make sure I can resolve these issues before making a purchase.

A: Try to use the latest version of Deluxe Tabs v3.2.9.

Try to delete height: 0%; parameter from the styles:
