Q: Drop Down Menu could be the best solution for my website ... but Ihave one important question: I've seen, that it's possible to open the javascript change menu linked contents in the same or in a new window or in a frame ... but is it possible, too, to generate a new tab? To open a new window often is not possible, because most users have popup-blockers installed. And to open the contents in the same window drives the user away from the main page! Open a new tab seems to be less risky ... is there any solution to be used with Drop Down Menu? I tried to use "_tab" instead of "_self" or "_parent", but it did not work!

A: You should use _blank. If your browser supports tabs your link will beopened in a new tab (except IE, in IE it will be opened in a newwindow).

Q: Hello, I am interesting in purchasing your product, but first I need to know if it is possible to call a JavaScript function from the menu.  I have read the FAQ and noted where it lists that you can perform an alert call, and that worked on my end as well, but when I attempted to call a function I created I could not get it to respond.  Is it possible to call a function from your menu?  Could I get an example?

Q: I would like to purchase your menu system but I need to know if I can control disable property for the menu javascripts

A: You can try to use the following function:

function dm_ext_changeItemVisibility (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, visibility)

Shows/hides the item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0. See more info about indexes here.
visibility = true/false - visibility of the item.

Q: The button menu is on the top of the screen but it has lines through each of the menus just after the words and before the arrow on each of them.
I have stretched the menu out tocover the whole of the top of the page but i need to get these lines out of the menu.

Can you please help me with this problem

You can try to use combined background for your items, for example:
