Q: I am trying to use Delux-menu for our project, I am not able to use dynamic features of drop down menu script. I will send the html file, where I am calling the java script.
I am getting the error dm_menu[mInd] has no properties.
A: You have one menu in your example, but you write:
function hide(vis) {
dm_ext_changeItemVisibility(1, 0, 2, vis);
That is mean that you want to hide item in the second drop down menu script.
You should write:
function hide(vis) {
dm_ext_changeItemVisibility(0, 0, 2, vis);
Q: What do you recommend for "remembering" the tab in the js tab menu,
so that when the page reloads the correct tab is highlighted.
A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab aslo.
You can set "bselectedItem" and " var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.
For example, move " var bselectedItem" and " var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.

You should define seltabs and selsmtabs using server side script.
You can also set it on every page before you call data.js file, forexample:

Q: I need to know how to have the background in the main menutransparent, and then the sub-menu/s a different translucent color.

A: To set transparent background for the menu you should set:
var menuBackColor="transparent";

and use Individual Item Styles for your submenus:

Q: When one of my menu items is a link to a url, is there a setting to change the cursor to a hand versus the normal arrow for the dhtml rollover?
