Q: Is it possible to have menu items act like regular hyperlinks?
For instance in Firefox I like to "middle click" hyperlinks to open them in a new tab, or in IE right click and open in new window.
However with Deluxe-Menu this does not seem to work.


A: If you want to open your links in the new window you should set the item target parameter to "_blank", for example:

  var menuItems = [

["Home","testlink.html", , , , "_blank", , , , ],
...

You can include also any html code in the Item Text.

For example:

["<a href='http://deluxe-menu.com/'>Home</a>","", , , , , , , , ],


Q: I am evaluating your fine menu builder application.

Please let me know the following:

a) How could I call a script instead of specifying a link?

 ["|Product A","http://dhtml-menu.com","","","",,"0",],

b) If the above is possible, please let me know how, in the called script, I could know where the call to the script come from.


A: You can use your own javascript functions in the menu items.

You should paste "javascript:some_function()" into item's link field, for example:

  var menuItems = [
["text", "javascript:your_function(...)", ...]
];


Q: In addition, as you know commercial websites also have to comply with EU regulations regarding disabilities, and I further believe that the current menu cannot be read by screen readers for blind/partially sighted/disabled users. Could you please confirm if this is the case, or if the java pull down menu can in fact be read by screen readers?

A: Deluxe java pull down menu is 508 compliant, but we don't have the certificate at this moment.



Q: I want create a vertical dropdown menu with vertical - Submenu's. Is this possible?

A: You should set the following parameters to create vertical menu:
