Q: I have been working with on a site and I am kind stack using the program. I want to use the tree option but not all “buttons” need to have subcategories. For example:

Category 1

            Sub-menu 1-1
            Sub-menu 1-2
            Sub-menu 1-3

Category 2

            Sub-menu 2-1
            Sub-menu 2-2
            Sub-menu 2-3

Category 3

Category 4

When someone click on the “Category 1” or “Category 2”, I want them to see the sub-menus. However, when some click on “Category 3” or “Category 4”, I would like to have it open the appropriate page. How do I do this? This will make a lot easier because not all buttons need to have sub-menus… I hope that makes sense and you can help me on getting this done.


A: You cannot use links for the top items in XP Style only.

Q: We use your deluxe menu app. We are trying to configure menu windows to a certain width. But when we configure it to a certain number of characters, the app cuts words. Is there any way to configure it, so that doesn't happens and puts that word in the lower line in the menu en javascript item?

A: Try to use the following parameter:

You can also use standard <br> tags within menu en javascript item's text.

Q: We've used your deluxe menu on a few sites without any issues. We are trying a new site javascript menu system now and having an issue with beforeItemImage and afterItemImage. Below is our data javascript class. The dropdown seems fine in Firefox but the before and after Images are not showing up in Internet Explorer.

We've tried a number of things and can't quite get the tabbed corners in IE. Any suggestions would be greatly appreicated, we need to get this menu live soon for a client of ours. Thank you in advance.

Q: Just one more question.

I'm making a drop menu sample but I want the dropdown sub menus to drop up!
ie: the nav bar will actually be at the bottom of the page so when you hover over, I need the sub items to rise up.

Can you force this? I can't seem to find anywhere to do it.
