Q: I downloaded the new version of dhtml menu source code copied the files over to my folder this menu was made with3.0 the files I copied over is 3.2 and now I get an error.

A: Now you have:

  var fontStyle=["nirmal 12px Trebuchet MS, Tahoma","nirmal 12px Trebuchet MS, Tahoma"];

It is not correct. You should write:

  var fontStyle=["normal 12px Trebuchet MS, Tahoma","normal 12px Trebuchet MS, Tahoma"];



Q: We just downloaded the trial versions to evaluate and I noticed something a little odd. When I build a menu that will not have icons next to the links, I don't see a way the I can move the test further tothe left inside the menu.

Notice how the links within the menu box are almost centered? Is there anyway to move those items further to the left?


A: Try to set the following parameter.

  var tlevelDX=0;

You cannot move it closer to the left side.


Q: Is it correct that in javascript treeview menu you can specify your target as a different frame?

A: Yes, you can specify frame name as the target in Deluxe Tree:

Q: I'm having trouble getting rid of a shadow the the right and bottom of a list menu java script, I don't see a parameter for it:

A: In your data .js file find the shadow section

  var shadowLen=3;
  var shadowColor="#777777";
  var shadowTop=1;

and set
  var shadowLen=0;
