  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! Q: If I open a pdf file within the frame work, the javascript onmouseover menu does not work.

A: Try to load your .pdf file into the IFRAME, for example on yourcontent frame (frame where you load your pdf files) you'll have:

<iframe src="files/1.pdf" name="iframe" style="z-index:0;" width="100%" height="100%"></iframe>

Submenus will overlap PDF correctly if you load it in the IFRAME only!

Q: I will probably purchase your developer version mostly because I want access to the 600 icons....

1) Do you offer access to these icons with any other license for css drop down menu?

2) I develop sites for several clients, what is involved for them to make small changes to their menus... i.e. add or delete a menu item or sub-item... Will they need to purchase a license to make changes?

3) Does the developer version access your site at runtime? I do not have a problem registering my client sites and getting a key... I just want to make sure at runtime their site does not contact yours.

A: 1) Icon collection is available in Developer licenses only.

2) No, there is no need to purchase the license in that case.

3) No, script doesn't access our site at runtime.
Developer version of the script doesn't check reg. keys at all.
With the Developer license you can use the menu on an unlimited number of Internet or Intranet sites and on the local machines.
This version of the css drop down menu doesn't check keys and it isn't bound to a domain name,so it can be used with an application that doesn't have a fixed domain name.

And really I do not understand this phrase:

- Item ID format has changed. It depends on the parent ID = [parent ID]i[item index].
Examples: for the first level dtree _0i0, dtree_0i1..., for the second level dtree_0i1i0,dtree_0i1i1, dtree_0i1i2...

Where do I fill in?

Do I have to rename my cascading menu titles?

A: Actually you shouldn't change anything.
This info is for the customers who use these indexes (dtree_0i1i2) only.

Q: I need to create a link drop down menu for a site that has the top level menuhave no border but I want any of the sub menu popups to have aborder around them (or a different background color for the menuarea for the popup). I can not see a way to do this? If a put a menu border on it appears on both the top level and any submenu popups.

A: You should set the following parameters:

1)   var menuBorderWidth=0;
2) Create Submenu Style

You can do it in Deluxe Tuner. Click "Edit Individual Styles" and thenchoose "Submenu Styles" tab.

3) Assign Individual Style for your submenus.
