Considering my total ignorance to code, I'm understanding much better now, but could you please take a look at the page and tell me why I now have double menus and how to correct?


A: It happens because at first you call
<SCRIPT src="CHSD Map_files/data.js" type=text/javascript > </SCRIPT >
and then you paste the content of data.js file in your code.
That's why you have two menus on your page.Please, delete one of them.


Q: I never had trouble with your other scripts but Deluxe Tuner is very difficult and I am about to give it up.

I am trying to set up a new navigation bar using vista 3-1. If I add another Vista drop down menu buttons, they have a completely different look to the ones with the templates. It makes no sense.

How do I add items and have it remain the same look?.


A: See, in Vista style templates we use Individual Item Styles for thetop items.
For, example select the first item on the main window.

In the "Item Parameters" window you can see Individual Styles assignedfor this item:
Item Style - Top Item
Submenu Style - Top Menu

When you add the new item you should assign Individual Styles for itin the same way.

Q: How do I make the background in my rollover drop down menu transparent?

A: You should set the following paramter in your data.js file:

  var tmenuBackColor="transeparent";

Q: For some reason all of the menu items are squished together when I put the js code in my page.
Is my site's CSS overriding the ones set in the menu css? If so how do I get around this?


A: See, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
To get the value you should move .css style into style="" attribute.

Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css
