Q: I want to use
function dtreet_ext_userRightClick(itemID) {
alert(itemID[0]); ???
return false;
}
But how do I refer to tmenuItems array using itemID in the javascript?
For example, if I want to pop a link text, should I use alert(itemID[0]))?
It doesn't work.
Please let me know how I refer to the menu.
A: You should use the following function to get item's info:
dtreet_ext_getItemParams (0, itemID);
For example:
<script type="text/javascript">
function dtreet_ext_userRightClick(itemID)
{ var link = [];
link = dtreet_ext_getItemParams (0, itemID);
//Returns item parameters in the array:
// [item_id, index_within_submenu, parentID, level, has_child, child_count, expanded, text, link, target, tip, align, icons, hidden, disabled, visible]
alert(link[7]);
return false;
}
</script>
Q: I would like to use your menu for a website I am building of which will only exists on a CD ROM.
Is it possible to purchase a license that will operate the html drop down menu on a CD ROM preventing the ‘Incorrect license’ message from appearing?
A: To use Deluxe Menu on CD/DVD you should buy developerlicense. Other licenses allow you to use the html drop down menu on Internet/Intranetwebsites only.
Q: I would like to add a javascript link but cannot seem to get it handle the event as a tag or onclick event. I just want to grab the current page, insert it into a string, and go off to the page it specifies. Can this be done?
A: You're able to use Javascript for each item, for example:
var menuitems = [
["item text", "javascript:your_code_here"]
];
Unfortunately, you can't assign onmouseover/onClick event to each item.
However, you can achieve this by using standard html objects within items, for example:
var menuitems = [
["<div onClick='your_code_here'>item text</div>", "index.html"]
];
Q: I am running our Intranet site off a mapped drive in our office and it is only accessed by approx. 12 users. Would the Single Website License be what I am looking for? Eventually, I would like to move it to a proper server. Would I encounter any issues down the road?
I am not a web designer, just a technician looking to add an Intranet as a helpful tool for our office.
Really like your product!
A: For Single Website License you should register the menu for the domain name thatyou print in a browser's search string, for example:
http://intranet/
http://intranet/folder
http://www.salsaboot-kassel.de/
http://192.168.0.1
Your menu will work on the registered domain name only.
