Q: I have downloaded the trial software and built my tabs,
but at this point, all I have is the tabs... I need the entire box under the menu tabs in css,
and I need to be able to insert my content for each tab.

A: You should specify any Object ID name of the DIV.

See, for each item you should assign the ID property of the content
DIV (see data file with your menu parameters).

Q: I am just in the process of evaluating your deluxe menus product for possible purchase.  
I have installed the product and i am using the Deluxe Tuner product to create my menus based on the Vista 3-08 template.  

I save the project and it adds the .js files in the correct location ( all under Menu folder in my project), but none of the images for the top level menu are copied (btn_red.gif or btn_red2.gif).  

So when i run my website, i see the drop down menus but no header menu images (see attached image).  

What image files need copying to which location in my websites main folder?


A: When you save your menu in Deluxe Tuner (use "Save as..." or "Exportto HTML" functions) you'll get a folder with all engine files(dmenu.js, dmenu_add.js ...) and all images.

So, for Vista Style 3-08 template you'll have the following images:

arr_white.gif
arrv_white.gif
blank.gif
btn_red.gif
btn_red2.gif

You should copy folder with all these files on your server.


Q: I am working in a Hispanic area, and need to be able to utilize specialcharacters
in titles in for navigation menus.
However, those are appearing distorted on my website.

A: Actually you can use any letters in the menu.

Please, check that you've set "Tools/Use utf8 encode".

When you save your data file in UTF8 you should use the same encoding on our html page.

So you should write:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">

If you don't want to use UTF-8 encode on your page you should turn off
"Tools/Use utf8 encode" property, save your data file and manually
change your letters in any text editor.

Q: I am using a licensed copy of Deluxe Menu and am extremely happy with the software and the functionalities provided. Great Work !!

I wanted to know how to hide/ disable the item in the javascript text menu for a particular user/roleid in .ASP.Net1.1 Kindly help me out with this problem as soon as possible.

You can try to use API functions in that case:

function dm_ext_changeItemVisibility (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, visibility)

To disable items you should set the target parameter to "_".

You can try to use the following function

function disable() {
dm_ext_changeItem(0, 1, 1, ["", "", "", "", "", "_"]);
}

to disable items in your javascript text menu.
