You can also specify height and width for each separate submenu.

Q: I now have the need to introduce separators on the menu.
Can you tell me how to do that?
I cannot find any documentation telling me how this is done.


A: Please, see the following parameters:

You should set a separator in the menuItems, for example:

Q: I tried to add a fixed width on some of the items that I thought had too much empty space on the right of the text but would not work. Is it possible to have a fixed amount of pixels after the text for all navigation items of the css drop-down menu?

A: You can set padding parameter in the following way:

  var itemPadding="3px 15px 3px 3px";
                            top right bottom left


Q: I have problems to show scandic letters in rollover navigation bar in ie6/7 browsers.
Every other browsers show menu correctly, but these can't show scandic letters.


A: Actually you can use any letters in the menu.

Please, check that you've set "Tools/Use utf8 encode".

When you save your data file in UTF8 you should use the same encoding on our html page.

So you should write:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">

If you don't want to use UTF-8 encode on your page you should turn off
"Tools/Use utf8 encode" property, save your data file and manually
change your letters in any text editor.




Q: That worked for the rollover drop down menu but I lost my drop shadow on the main menu. The sub-menus still have it. The preview has the drop shadow but when I view it in IE it is not there.

A: You should check the following parameters:

  var shadowLen=3;
  var shadowColor="#B1B1B1";
  var shadowTop=1;
