  • You can set the size of the menu in pixels, percent or other units. The menu may have an absolute or relative position (it can be inserted into the table).

A: Use he following parameters to set the selected top and submenu items:

  var bselectedItem = 0;
  var bselectedSmItem = 0;

Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab aslo.

You can set "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.

For example, move "  var bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.

You should define seltabs and selsmtabs using server side script.

You can also set it on every page before you call data.js file, forexample:

Q: Hi I recently purchased your product Deluxe Tuner and I am having trouble with my frame pages.
There is a portion of my site that is set to produce frames and Iwas wondering if there is more information about setting links in a tree view structure to selected frame pages?

A: You can specify target parameter for each item individually.

For example you can specify the name of the frame in the menuItems where you would liketo open your link:

Q: I just discovered your product and I think it is fabulous! I would like to buy it, but have one issue which is strange:

I have a list of 12 items, each with a submenu that is loaded using the ajax technology. The submenues are loaded correctly for the first 8 items, but not for the last 4 items. I can switch items around, always the first 8 only get loaded. Is there a limitation to 8 items?


A: No, there is no such limitation.

Please, check the following parameter:
  var dmAJAXCount=0;

That variable set the maximal number of submenus that will be loadedfrom server on your page.


Q: Is there a way to center floatable menus horizontally on a page?
I used to use absolutePos=0, and all of my menus were centered ok, but when I tried floatable=1 I found that I had to change toabsolutePos=1 to get the menu to float, and this messed up my centering. Since I have multiple menus of different widths, I'd rather not have to hard-code the menu width, but please let me know if there's a better way.


A: Notice, when you use floatable menu you can't use relative menu position.
So, if you use

  var absolutePos = 0;

and to center the menu you use <p> or <div> with the center alignment your menu won't float.
To center your floatable menu you should set absolute coordinates.
