  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! Width of the menu you can set so:

Try that.

Try to specify units in "px".

Q: Is there a javascript function that I can call that will return the ID or the Text value of the currently active tab of the web navigation?

A: Unfortunately there is no such a function now.

There are such variables.

dtabs_tabs[menuN].b1 - dtabs_tabs[menuN].selectedItem
dtabs_tabs[menuN].JT0 - dtabs_tabs[menuN].selectedSmItem

But they contain the index of the selected menu item, not the ID.


Q: I am having trouble changing a template of dhtml drop down menu code. I am using the
http://deluxe-menu.com/data-templates/image-based-1-template-sample.html,
and I want to add more items to the top menu, however when I add an item, it doesn't follow the format of the existing items.


A: See, we use Individual Item Styles for the top items in this template.
For, example select the "CONTACTS" item on the main window.

In the "Item Parameters" window you can see Individual Styles assignedfor this item:

When you add the new item you should assign Individual Styles for itand add icon in the same way.
