  • Build right-click menus for your site. For this purpose you should appoint a peculiar method for the object you want. The current X,Y of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the context menu.
  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. To view all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automagically scrolled! A: To insert item in the specific position you should use the following function:

function dm_ext_addItemPos (menuInd, submenuInd, iParams, Pos)

Adds the new item to a submenu.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0. See more info about indexes here.
iParams = [array] - the array of item parameters.
Pos - the position in the menu where you want to add new item.

Q: I'm a registered user. I'm looking to make a space between dhtml cross browser menu buttons, I checked the FAQ which suggested using ["-"], between items but it didn't work. It deleted the dhtml cross browser menu items below it. I'm looking to put a space between

Q: I'm interested in using DHTMLMenu in web applications I develop and have some questions about licensing.

My company develops web applications that act as front ends for clients' legacy mainframe programs.  DHTML Menu would be of great benefit in adding navigation functionality to these applications.  Each application is custom-developed for each client, so we don't have a pre-packaged product in which the menu would be used.  Would the Developer License meet our needs for this sort of development?

Also, a small minority of our clients develop and distribute applications themselves based on the applications that we develop for them.  Does the Developer License support transferable redistribution?  If not, how much would a license that permitted this cost?
