Q: Is it possible for a javascript navigation barr item to have an associated "target"?

What I mean is I'd like to be able to open the page in a new window, so I'd need to specify the href as well as "target=_new" (in HTML anyway).

A: You can set target parameter for all items:
  var itemTarget="_blank";

Where main - is the name of the main middle frame where you want to open the link.

or for each item individually:
["Home","testlink.html", "", "", "", "_blank", "", "", "", "", "", ],



Q: Do you have a version where the javascript expand menu does not disappear when someone clicks on it?


A: If you set the value <-1 of smHidePause parameter
your submenus won't be hidden at all, untill you reload your page.

Q: Does your product generate the page code or is t a dll I have to use? Reason I ask is because we store our menu stuff with image references in a db. If your product outputs code for the menu, then I can use that and in my own code I can place/substitute values and work with it from there.

A: We have an .exe file - Deluxe tuner.
It generates .js files with menu parameters.
You can also export your menu to .html file.

You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.
However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so, you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:

Q: Am having problems adding to my site. I have a site all made ready to accept the new menu I made in your trial software. I copy code from the exported page over and place where it seems appropriate. When I preview the menu doesn't display but a link to purchase does. Is this because it is the trial software or something else.


A: When your security settings in browser doesn't allow Javascript onpages you load you can't see a dynamic page content.
