Q: The drop-down submenus are now going "up" instead of "down" in the drop down menus in javascript.

Q: How do you change the back ground color of the menu?
menuBackColor just changes the pull down background.
I'm stuck with a blue background which i guess is the default.

I've looked at the parameters page for info, tried a few different items but none worked for changing the background.

I'm sure its something very obvious, but any help would be appreciated.

Q: However, when I place it inside a CSS-defined div element (for absolute page placement) the submenu's all drop down a couple hundred pixels.


A: See, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).In other words, you can't get the value of "POSITION: absolute" attribute of the object if the object doesn't have this property within inline style (style="POSITION:absolute;"). To get the value you should move .css style into style="" attribute.

Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css, for example:

You should add style="POSITION: absolute;"

to the

<div id="menu">

So, you'll have:

<DIV id="menu" style="POSITION: absolute;">
Try that.


Q: When you hover over words the background color is light blue - How do I change dhtml context menu so that the color when you hover over items is different?
