Q: I try to use the javascript menu popups to show an image; then when the mouse is over the image I dynamically generate a panel of http links. It works perfectly, but the problem is that I would like to do the same with several images (for instance 2) and different links : I'm not able to do that, whether I change the value of menuItems   var or not, I display the same link values on both images (it seems menuItems is a global   var and can be set only once).

Have you heard about this problem and could you give me a solution (this is a bit urgent, I have sold this solution to my customers) ?

A: See how you should call dm_popup() functions:

Q: I have a question:

The smHidePause = 1500

If hide is busy (during 1500), and I click somewhere else on the screen (empty place), I want the submenu to hide.

A: Yes, you can do it.
You should use the following function to hide your submenus:

_dmsm(0);
where 0 - is index of the menu on a page >0.


Q: Javascript menu frame Borders are present Firefox but missing in IE7, IE8, Google Chrome, Safari.

Firefox shows the borders ok.

A: You've set the following parameters in this menu:
  var menuBorderColor="#FF9191 #FF7837 #E10000 #952D00 ";
  var menuBorderWidth=3;
  var menuBorderStyle="";

You should specify style for your border, for example:
  var menuBorderStyle="solid";

See the attached example. I cannot notice such issue on Safari forWin. Write what version you're using.

Change also
  var fontStyle=["normal 8pt Verdana,normal 8pt Verdana","normal 8pt Verdana,normal 8pt Verdana"];
to
  var fontStyle=["normal 8pt Verdana","normal 8pt Verdana"];

Q: I can't find anywhere in your documentation that states where
I can call function onclick other than in the menu target for dhtml menu script.


A: You can use onclick event in the following way:
