Q: Hi, I purchased your deluxe-menu product and it's working great, the only problem I'm having is the tree menu in javascript is always fully expanded when a new customer enters the site. I've looked through your support blog but I can't find a reason for it.

A: Check that parameter:

  var texpanded = 0;

It expands all items by default.


Q: I like “popup-mode-sample” but I could make it to work on my computer.

A: If your menu doesn't work you should check paths to your dmenu.js file andto dmWorkPath parameter.


Q: Shouldn’t the dhtml expand menu know what page you are on and expand accordingly?
Or would you need to ‘hard code’ each page to be expanded basedon that page?

A: You should set the following parameter
  var ttoggleMode=1;

Deluxe Tree doesn't save a presseditem as it saves a tree state. It works within 1 page only and if youreload the page you should set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dtreet_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, itemID)

To expand specific items you should use API function
function dtreet_ext_expandItem (itemID, expand)

Q: I am looking to get the Floating to work for the flash drop down menu.



A: To enable floating feature you should set the following parameters:

  var absolutePos=1;

  var floatable=1;

Check also that you have dmenu_add.js file in the same folder withdmenu.js file.
