Q: I’m interested in adding cascading navigation bar to a website that was written in Microsoft Frontpage.

A: Deluxe Menu wasn't developed as Dreamweaver/Frontpage/Yahoo SiteBuilder extension,
BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files. To install the menuinto your html page:

1. open the page in your program
2. open html source code of the page
3. add several rows of code (<script> tags).

Q: Only in XP Styles for dhtml vertical menus I can set the "movable menu" on ?!
When I save to teste this feature doesn't work !!!

A: You can use movable feature in the  var tXPStyle=0;too.

But to use floatable or movable feature you should use absolute position forthe menu:

Q: Where do I increase the width of the javascript menu bars for each entry? Some of my links are a bit longer than the image and it's causing it to use part of another gif to cover it. Sorry not sure if I even explained that right. Let me know if this makes sense.

A: I suppose that you're using Vista style templates.

The width of vista images is 94px. If the width of your menu itemis wider than 94px you should correct the width of the images in anygraph editor, for example in Photoshop. You should set the width ofthese images 120px and set the following parameter:

Q: Utilizing the drop down web menu under Internet Explorer 7, it gives me a popup of “To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restrictedthis webpage from running scripts or ActiveX controls that could access your computer. Click here for optons….

  Is there a way to bypass this popup and IE recognize it as a valid script?


A: Please, see security preferences: IE/Tool/Internet OptionsMake sure that Active content is enabled.

You should check your Security Settings.

There is no way to enable these settings automatically.
