Q: Does your product generate the page code or is t a dll I have to use? Reason I ask is because we store our menu stuff with image references in a db. If your product outputs code for the menu, then I can use that and in my own code I can place/substitute values and work with it from there.

A: We have an .exe file - Deluxe tuner.
It generates .js files with menu parameters.
You can also export your menu to .html file.

You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.
However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so, you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:

Q: We do need the menuitem separation bars as most of the menuitems are quit lengthy, and there needs to be a separation bar to distinguish between them.

A: If you want to add separators between items you can paste a separatorbetween items or you can set item's border width in the following way:

  var itemBorderWidth="0 0 1 0";
But you cannot enter this value in Deluxe Tuner you should set thisparameter manually.
You can also create style for the last item with border width = 0:

To add separators, please, see the following parameters:

Q: What is the difference between itemStyles and menuStyles for the down javascript menu?

A: See you should assign the menuStyles to the whole submenu (the first item in the submenu).
itemStyles you should assign for each item individually.
