Q: I have a menu defined that displays and operates correctly in a page. However, if I place that same page in an iFrame the menu displays correctly BUT the texpanded parameter no longer works.
If I copy the contents of the iFrame and run it again in a new window, it all works fine again.

Is there something special I need to do in an iFrame?


A: Deluxe Tree Menu doesn't work with <IFrame> objects. It works with objects only. All it can to do with <IFrame> is to loadpages into it.
You should use standard installation for the menu.


Q: The browser I am using is Internet Explorer 7.0 at Windows Vista (with "Security" set at "Medium"). I get the message "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this webpage from running scripts or ActiveX controls that could access your computer" and then I have to click this message/bar in order to "Allow blocked content". After I do that the javascript menu script appears as it should, but of course I don't want visitors to go through that. FYI, I do not have the same problem with the dynamic menus on your website or in other websites, which appear normally right from the start.

A: You should adjust your browser settings.

Tools/Internet Options/Advanced Options/

and set
"Allow active content from files to run on My Computer".

There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in othercase there are no reasons to create security preferences.



Q: Now I experiences a problem with the Danish letters in my java menu scripts! I have changed the letters in the scriptfile - but this does not work Have we a problem with Danish letters like: ø, å, æ?

A: Please, check that you've set "Tools/Use utf8 encode".

Notice that you should have UTF8 charset on your page too:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html" charset="UTF-8">

You can also use another charset on your html page and open your data file in text editor, enter thissymbols and save data file in the way you save your html page.
Notice that you should turn off "Tools/Use utf8 encode" setting inorder to open your data file correctly in Deluxe Tuner.



Q: Is there a way to specify certian font styles escpecailly a hanging indent on the text of the javascript menu scroll?

A: You should use Individual styles, for example:
