Q: How can I set the padding for the menu text at the top for the javascript select menu? I want more padding on the left of the text but I don't want it centered.
A: You can set bigger left padding for your Submenu Style, for example:
var menuStyles = [

];
itemPadding=0px 5px 0px 25px - top right bottom left
Q: We'd tried the useIFrame = 1 as well and the issue is fixed but the IE6 shows a "non secure objects over a secure connection" message, it worries me because on one side the problem is solved but on the other hand it generates confusion.
As an alternative we're planning to use the Deluxe navigation tree in order to avoid these overlapping problems, but it doesn't show up in IE7 over W2K3 R2!!

A: Deluxe navigation tree works fine in IE7.
Try to set width and height parameters:
var tmenuWidth="230px";
var tmenuHeight="auto";
Q: The submenu should look identical to the main menu but it is not allowing this.
Even though parameters are set to 0 it is showing smart scroll and also not showing the sub menus how they should be.
I also notice and error in the templates window view when I am looking at the javascript onmouseover menu.
A: You've set the exact width for your submenus:
var smHeight="21px"; // it is the height of the whole submenu
It is not right.
Try to write:
var smHeight="";

It is not correct. Try to set:

Q: I've purchased the mac style tabs. I've spent countless hours trying to get it to work, no luck so far. I've gotten jscript tabs to look okay on page, but links between pages do not work. I've even gotten them to work, but they were simple text menu's; not jscript tabs. But I haven't gotten the tabbed menu to work. Checked and tripled cheeked the instructions, still no luck.
I've uploaded the files to a test server.
There are four files cameron,carl,grace, and chantel; these are simple identical two column pages to test the links between tabs. NO LUCK. I'm about to give up on your program, can you please help.
A: You're using
var tabMode=0;
now. That means that you should use content DIV's ID instead of thelink.
If you want to open links you should write links in the following way:
