  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! Q: Is there a way we can add javascript behaviors to the popup menu in java actions? For example, is there a way we can add an onClick function to a popup menu in java item (eg, onClick="return MyFunction( )" ) so that we can catch and process key events?

I'm really hoping there's a way of doing this...

A: Unfortunately, you can't assign onmouseover/onClick/onContextMenu event to each item. However, you can achieve this by using standard html objects within popup menu in java items, for example:

You can use your own Javascript code instead standard links. For example:

Q: Is this transparent feature there for individual submenu styles or for individual menu items in scrolling menu? I want that.

A: See, you can use "transparent" value instead of any color in the mainmenu parameters and in Individual styles.

Q: I am rewriting my homepage in CSS but now I have another problem with the DeLuxe menu.
The javascript top menu is well positioned on the page but the submenus are not.
The submenus are not positioned aside the javascript top menu but lower and far to much to the right.
I changed the variables

Sometimes when I change the variables the submenus are well positioned and then, after enlarging the IE-window, they are not.
What can I do?

A: It is possible that you have some problems with your css styles.
See, the problem is that the javascript top menu can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
In other words, you can't get the value of "POSITION: absolute" attribute of the object if the object doesn't have this property within inline style (style="POSITION:absolute;"). To get the value you should move .css style into style="" attribute.

Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css, for example:

You should add style="POSITION: absolute;"

to the

<div id="block">
