  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! You can also specify height and width for each separate submenu.
  • Build menus completely based on Cascading Style Sheets. It is possible to appoint the individual CSS styles for separate elements of the menu.

A: To disable your menu items you should set the following parameter to disable all items:

  var itemTarget="_";

Or you can disable items individually.

If I click on test1 which is a Norwegian newspaper, it works.

But it I click on test2 which is a link to my page – it does not work.

A: You cannot use "" symbols within menuItems. It is not correct.
Try to write your javascript drop down menu items in the following way:

Q: I have a top horizontal menu with one level sub-menus.

I am using images for the rollover (on & off). I don’t need the generated text on the main menu, only on the submenus.

??? How do I eliminate the text and only have roll-overs?

A: You should delete item's text:

Q: Shouldn’t the dhtml expand menu know what page you are on and expand accordingly?
Or would you need to ‘hard code’ each page to be expanded basedon that page?

A: You should set the following parameter
  var ttoggleMode=1;

Deluxe Tree doesn't save a presseditem as it saves a tree state. It works within 1 page only and if youreload the page you should set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dtreet_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, itemID)
