Q: Does your drop down menu creator work in Expression Web?
A: Deluxe Menu wasn't developed as Dreamweaver/Frontpage/Microsoft Expression Web extension,
BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files.
To install the menuinto your html page:
1. open the page in your program
2. open html source code of the page
3. add several rows of code (<script> tags).

Q: The mentioned effect occurs even when the entire page is completely loaded!
As we explained before, it occurs only when we view the page with explorer 6.
(It is working fine under explorer 7 and under Firefox, so you should check it under explorer 6)

As you will see, the buttons of the javascript menu scroll and the text will disappear (become white) while you move the mouse cursor over the menu buttons. It has nothing to do with page loading.
We are using a "Vista style" javascript menu scroll with custom design pictures.

Q: My client wants their drop down navigation to lock into place when someone visits a page. Is there a way to do this?
Right now it disappears when you click the link.
A: I suppose that you're saying about submenus.
Try to set the pressed item using the following API function:
function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion, parentOpen)
Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a dynamic menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.
parentOpen = true/false - open all submenus to show the selected item

Try to click 'Highlight "Product Info/Installation/Description ofFiles" item'.
You can also try to use the following parameter:
var smHidePause = 1000;
A delay (in ms) between mouse is moved from submenu and its closing.
You can make submenus to stay visible till you click outside the menu or scroll your page.
To enable this feature you should set this parameter in the following way: var smHidePause = -1;
Q: I have another question.. after I successfully click and load the data in to my window using the mouseover tab, the tab defaults back to the original default tab.
Because I have to reload my page after the tab has been selected the tab chosen is lost. What do you recommend for "remembering" the tab so that when the page reloads the correct tab is highlighted. I know that I need to set the var bselectedItem but if you have a "nifty" way for me to do that I am all ears.
A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab aslo.
You can set "bselectedItem" and " var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.
For example, move " var bselectedItem" and " var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.

You should define seltabs and selsmtabs using server side script.
You can also set it on every page before you call data.js file, forexample:
