Q: I ordered & installed the dhtml collapsable menu.
I can't seem to get the floating function to work. Here's how I have the variables set in the data-tree.js file:
var tfloatable = 1;
var tfloatIterations = 10;
var tfloatableX = 0;
var tfloatableY = 1;

A: Notice, your dhtml collapsable menu won't float with relative position. You shouldset:
var tabsolute=1;
Q: Just wondering if it is possible to select a specificdhtml tab via JavaScript.
Eg. A link on the page to select the next tab (or any other for that matter)
A: You can use the following function to open appropriate tab:
Unfortunately Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions now.
You can use the following function to open specific tab:
dtabs_itemClick(menuInd,itemInd);
where
menuInd - index of a tab menu on a page, >= 0.
itemInd - index of a item, >=0.
For example:

Q: I would like to know does deluxe menu support Unicode characters? I have enter some Chinese texts through deluxe tuner and I can preview those Chinese text in deluxe tuner preview panel. I have chose "use utf8 encode"already. However after I saved the .js file, the js file encode become ANSI and those Chinese texts in the js file become ?????. Can deluxe tuner autosave the file to UTF8 encode?
A: Please, check that you've set "Tools/Use utf8 encode".
When you save your data file in UTF8 you should use the same encoding on our html page.
So you should write:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
If you don't want to use UTF-8 encode on your page you should turn off"Tools/Use utf8 encode" property, save your data file and manuallychange your letters in any text editor.Q: We have a menu in its own dedicated table row on our website and the table row contains a background image. We want to know if we can make the background on your menu transparent so that you can see our table cell background through the menu.
We have tried using your option to put our image as your menu’s background, but then it repeats for all of the drop downs which we do not want.
We simply want the row of options to be transparent and all of the drop downs to be white.
Is this possible with your system and, if so, how would we go about making this work?
A: You can try to use these parameters:
var menuBackColor="transparent";
var itemBackColor=["transparent","#1665CB"];
Or, you can use Individual Item Styles and set images only for the main items.
Try that.
