Q: How can I have the option for the navbar tabs that initiated the action highlighted once the new page is reloaded?
I want to highlight the tab which is done with 'bselectedItem', please tell me about thesub-tab option.
A: See you cannot create subitems in:
var tabMode=0;
it is not correct.
You should set
var tabMode=1;
The following parameters set the pressed items for top items andsubitems:
var bselectedItem=0; //top items
var bselectedSmItem=2; //subitems
where 0,1,2... is the index of the item in bmenuItems.
- delete var bselectedItem=1; and var bselectedSmItem=2; parameters from your data file
- set correct parameters on each page before you call data file, forexample:

Q: I created a custom error page for a site, but the menu would not display.
I found that this was due to the erroneous "current directory" in the bad link test, for a non-existent directory.
which is: level2/level3/
I changed the script code from:

<script type="text/javascript" src="DMworkfiles/dmenu.js"></script>
to:
<script type="text/javascript"> var dmWorkPath = "DMworkfiles/";</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="/DMworkfiles/dmenu.js"></script>
adding the "/" before "DMworkfiles/dmenu.js" source reference allowed the .js file to be found in the root directory and the menu would display.
The problem is that the little menu "expansion" arrow .gif cannot be found in the "current working directory" of level2/level3/. just little "blanks" show.
I tried changing:
var dmWorkPath = "DMworkfiles/";
to:
var dmWorkPath = "/DMworkfiles/";
but that did not enable the display of the arrows.
I also had to prefix all of the links in the menu with a "/" to indicate the root directory because of the "current directory" for the bad page.
I hope I have explained the problem sufficiently.

A: You can use additional parameters to make menu paths absolute:
var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";
These parameters allow to make images and links paths absolute.
For example:
var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";
var menuItems = [
["text", "index.html", "icon1.gif", "icon2.gif"],
];
So, link path will be look so:
http://domain.com/pages/index.html
Images paths will be look so:
http://domain.com/images/icon1.gif
http://domain.com/images/icon2.gif

Q: I am a registered user, and I really like your menu system.
With my old menu system the user could right click on a menu item and the browser would display an option to open the page in a "New Tab".
Is there any way in the javascript menu html to allow the user to choose to open a link in a new tab?.
My users are restricted to using IE.
A: You can try to write the following code for your items:

And create styles

Q: I would prefer to have a sort of documentation or tutorial video but asI have seen on you website there is not. I have also to mix the javascriptcode with php.

A: Unfortunately, we don't have tutorial yet, we'll try to create it inthe nearest future.
To create the pop up menu you should to do the following steps:
1. Create your menu in Deluxe Tuner application.
You can create any menu as you like in Deluxe Tuner.
Please, try to download trial package once again. We added alltemplates in Deluxe Tuner Templates window.
Unfortunately, Deluxe Tuner doesn't copy all need images forVista Template into your folder. You should do it manually.
After you create your menu in Deluxe Tuner you should copy all images youneed for the menu into your folder and correct images paths.
You should set the following parameter
var pathPrefix_img="";
2. You should add the following parameter for the pop up menu:
var popupMode=1;
You should do it manually. Please, open your data file in any texteditor and add such parameter.
3. You should install the menu on your page.

Where return dm_popup(menuInd, pause, event, x, y)
menuInd - index of the menu on a page, >= 0.
pause - determines the time when the menu will be hidden.
event - constant. Do not change.
x, y - optional. Set these parameters if you want the menu to appear in the specified place. In other case the menu will be shown in the mouse position.
You should also copy all engine files
dmenu.js
dmenu4.js
dmenu_add.js
dmenu_dyn.js
dmenu_key.js
dmenu_cf.js
dmenu_popup.js

into "deluxe-menu.files/" folder. You should place this folder in thesame folder with your index. html page.
