Q: I want to be able to put a small thumbnail icon in the description area of animated drop down menu. Here is a current line from my .js file for a single link.

The problem is the "'s around the img src.....it's throwing off your animated drop down menu.
How do I fix that?
A: It is not correct to write menuItems in such way.
You should write:
["|'Slow Death Hook' Contest<br><br><br>Enter Your Favorite Fish Photos to Win!<br> Gary Parsons <br><br><img src='images/thumbnail.jpg'>","http://www.domain.com/site/featured_article.cfm?owner=AB18D298-0AC7-254E-B7248E9DCD0F9549",,,,,"0"],

Q: Is there a javascript API for the expandable menu tree to fire an user click event so the browser will load proper page accordingly? I looked around the current APIs from your site and could not find one.
Please advise.

Actually you can use your own Javascript code instead standard links and html code inside item text. For example:
var tmenuItems = [
["text", "javascript:your_code_here"]
];
or
var tmenuitems = [

A: You can use your own javascript functions in the menu items.
You should paste "javascript:some_function()" into item's link field, for example:
var menuItems = [

];
Q: Is it possible to make the menuitems rightclickable in the latest version of javascript dhtml menu. I want to rightclick on the dropdown item and choose open in new window.
A: No, there is no such a feature in Deluxe Menu v3.2.7.
You can write your item in the following way:

But you should assign style for this link.
