Q: Is there a way with your script drop down menu to make the menus appear to be expanded when on a certain page?
A: No, unfortunately there is no way to expand Deluxe Menu.
You can try to use Deluxe Tree, http://deluxe-tree.com in that case.
You can expand specific items in Deluxe Tree using
dtreet_ext_expandItem ()
function.

A: You should set pressed item.
Please, check the following parameter
var pressedItem=-2;
This parameter sets an index of an item that will be highlighted by default.
-2 - the toggle mode is disabled;
-1 - the toggle mode is enabled, but no items highlighted by default;
0,1,2,3,... - index of highlighted item in a top-menu.
Deluxe Menu v2.4 has only two states normal and mouseover. Now we'repreparing new version of Deluxe Menu. It saves it state after thereloading of the page. We're planing to release a new version during a month.
You can set a pressed item using Javascript API:
function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)
Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.
But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.
You can also set the correct
var pressedItem=1;
parameter on each html page.
Q: We create the menu code via ASP, and we need to have 2 menus on one page. Normally you do this by having 2 java scripts includes.
However it looks like the bottom menu activates the first menu?
A: Now you have two entries of dmenu.js file on your site in the tag.
You must have only one entry of dmenu.js file.
You should write so:

Q: When I open my site in Internet Explorer 6.0 the main drop menu code shows up nicely but the drop-down sub-menus are separated. The drop menu code work very nicely in a Firefox browser but not in IE.
A: There are some problems also with your css.The problem is that the drop menu code can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
In other words, you can't get the value of "position" attribute of the object if the object doesn't have this property within inline style(style="position:relative"). To get the value you should move .css style into style="" attribute.
Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css, for example:
You should add style="position:relative;"
to the
<DIV id="right">
So, you'll have:
<DIV id=right style="POSITION: relative;">
Check that.
