Q: I am now ready to re-create my menu. It says to edit my data file. When I try to do that it will NOT open. It says my computer does not have the right program? What do I need?
Also, once I have created the menu in Deluxe tuner, where should I save it? In the folder where my website pages are saved? Again, I am using Yahoo sitebuilder, so I am not exactly sure where I should save it in these folders?
Furthermore, when I tried to save a file before I removed Deluxe tuner and reloaded it, It would ask me if I wanted to copy all my files? What is that and what is the purpose?
I really like the deluxe tuner and I really want to be able to utilize this to create a menu, however, if I can't figure out how to get it onto my website, I am going to be out of luck

You should open your data file with the menu in any text editor andadd your reg. key.
Try that.

You can save your data file in any place and then copy to the rightplace.> Furthermore, when I tried to save a file before I removed Deluxe tuner and

If you click yes, Deluxe Tuner save also all engine .js files and allyour images into "data.files/" folder.
You can also click Export->To HTML.
So you'll have html page with your menu and folder with engine .jsfiles and images.
So you should to do the following things:
1. open your page in Yahoo's SiteBuilder
2. open generated with Deluxe Tuner html source code of the page in anytext editor
3. copy such lines from html source code

<script type="text/javascript" src="data.files/dmenu.js"></script>
and add them in you <head> tag.
Then find such line, for example:

and add it in you <body> tag in the place where you want to have themenu. For example, you can paste it in <table> or <div> tag:

</table>
or

<script type="text/javascript" src="data.files/data.js"></script>
</div>

You should also copy "data.files/" folder in the right place. In thefolder where you have you index.html page, created in Yahoo'sSiteBuilder.
Q: Is it possible to have your menu mouseover call one of my functions?
I need to change some text on the screen based on which menu itemis highlighted.
A: Each menu items can include any html code.
So, you can include your own objects with onmouseover event, forexample:
var menuItems = [
["<div onmouseover='yourFunc()'>item text</div>"]
];
Where yourFunc() is Javascript function.
Q: I am using the tree menu script in a frameset, and I would like for the selected menu branch to stay highlighted after the user moves the mouse to another window(where the menu brings up a new page),just so the user knows where he/she is.
Is that possible?
A: But if you open links in the another frame (window) the initial frame with your menu isnot reloaded, so the clicked item will be highlighted.
You should set the following parameters:
var ttoggleMode=1;
var tpressedFontColor="#AAAAAA";
You can also set the following parameter to save menu state:
var tsaveState=1;
var tsavePrefix="menu1";
If you install the menu without frames. On your pages you should call the following function/functions to expand/highlight items, for example:

A: I suppose that you're saying about submenus.
Try to set the pressed item using the following API function:
function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion, parentOpen)
Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a dynamic menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.
parentOpen = true/false - open all submenus to show the selected item

Try to click 'Highlight "Product Info/Installation/Description ofFiles" item'.
You can also try to use the following parameter:
var smHidePause = 1000;
A delay (in ms) between mouse is moved from submenu and its closing.
You can make submenus to stay visible till you click outside the menu or scroll your page.
To enable this feature you should set this parameter in the following way: var smHidePause = -1;
