Q: I am using the menu in a frameset, and I would like for the selected menu branch of the side navigation bar to stay highlighted after the user moves the mouse to another window (where the menu brings up a new page),just so the user knows where he/she is. Is that possible?
A: If you open links in the another frame (window) the initial frame with your menu isnot reloaded, so the clicked item will be highlighted.
You should set the following parameters:
var ttoggleMode=1;
var tpressedFontColor="#AAAAAA";
You can also set the following parameter to save menu state:
var tsaveState=1;
var tsavePrefix="menu1";
If you install the menu without frames. On your pages you should call the following function/functions to expand/highlight items, for example:

dtreet_ext_setPressedItem (0, dtreet_ext_getItemIDByIndex (0, 1));

Q: Firstly I'd like to say it looks like a great product. Something that would definitely be of use for our corporate intranet. But first! I have a problem with the evaluation.
I'm trying to get a click/context menu from clicking an image but no matter what I try the following .htm file errors with object required on line 15. I've read your examples / source over and over again but no joy - If I just display the menu with the usual <script> menu.js etc. entry it works but not with a popup?
Please please help if you can?
PS I've set the popupMode variable to 1 in the menu definition file.
A: The installation of your Popup menu is not correct.
If you have only one menu on your page you should write
<img src='images/note.gif' oncontextmenu='return dm_popup(0 ,2000 ,event );'>
You should also copy dmenu_popup.js file into the same folder withdmenu.js file.

Q: I have another question regarding the popup window. I need to use an iframe within the popup window. Is there any way I can close the dhtml popup from the page loaded within the iframe?
A: You can close the popup using the following function:
document.getElementById('win').hide();
Unfortunately it won't work if you use iframe as window content.
You open another page in the popup (in Iframe) so you cannot accessdocument.getElementById('win').hide();
element which is situated on the first page.
When you use text or object_id as window content the content of the popup will be situatedon the same page so you can access document.getElementById('win') element and hide it.
There is a workaround.
Use text as content type and add the following code inside popup:
<a onclick="document.getElementById('win').hide();">...</a> <iframe></iframe>
Your link will work in that case.
