I don't know what's happenning I followed the instructions that you describe in your installation process. I'm using the menu in a jsp page.
A: Now on your page you have only search engine friendly code for Deluxe Menu. You do not have menu.

You should paste also such lines, for example:
<script type="text/javascript" src="deluxe-menu.files/dmenu.js"></script>
and
<script type="text/javascript" src="deluxe-menu.files/data.js"></script>
Where data.js is the file with your menu. You can create such file using Deluxe Tuner.
You should upload this files on your server in the correct place.
Q: Is there any way to have the browser reset the horizontal tree view to allcollapsed each time the browser is reopened?
A: You should set the following parameter in that case:
var tsaveState=0;Q: We want to create a hyperlink (lets say google.com) to the item (eg. Industry,International Airlines etc) and display it in the dataframe.
For eg On clicking the 'International Airlines', the hyperlinked content should be displayed on the DataFrame along with expanding the navigation items. Right now it just expands the navigation , but the link doesn't work.
The hyperlink works fine for the subitems. We want to do the same for the main items as well.

Q: I am having trouble changing a template of dhtml drop down menu code. I am using the
http://deluxe-menu.com/data-templates/image-based-1-template-sample.html,
and I want to add more items to the top menu, however when I add an item, it doesn't follow the format of the existing items.
A: See, we use Individual Item Styles for the top items in this template.
For, example select the "CONTACTS" item on the main window.
In the "Item Parameters" window you can see Individual Styles assignedfor this item:
Item Style - Style1
Icons / Normal - images/spacer.gif
When you add the new item you should assign Individual Styles for itand add icon in the same way.
