Q: Hi - I've turned on tsavestate which works, but it acts erratically. I have my javascript cascade menu .js file in a /js folder, and the site has multiple directories, but all the pages in all directories use the same menu SSI include, which uses the same deluxemenu code in the common /js folder. I read your KB article about states, cookies and multiple folders, but it is confusing... does it actually save state per directory, versus per the entire domain? I only have one menu for the entire site.. just would like it to save state correctly for all pages in all folders that include that javascript cascade menu.

A: It's a feature of the browser. It creates different cookies for eachsubdirectory.The only way is to place all your pages in the one directory.

Q: Shouldn’t the dhtml expand menu know what page you are on and expand accordingly?
Or would you need to ‘hard code’ each page to be expanded basedon that page?

A: You should set the following parameter
  var ttoggleMode=1;

Deluxe Tree doesn't save a presseditem as it saves a tree state. It works within 1 page only and if youreload the page you should set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dtreet_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, itemID)

To expand specific items you should use API function
function dtreet_ext_expandItem (itemID, expand)

Q: Is there a way to change the height of the main buttons in Dhtml Menu. When I use the GUI tool there is nowhere to change the main button height. And when I tried to change it in the script file, it did me no good. I want all of the main buttons to be the same size.

A: You can use standard <img> object to set menu height, for example:

Q: Many thanks for your response.
What I meant to say was that the Deluxe tabs onmouseover maker did not include the vertical tabs as part of its repertoire and as a result, I was not able to produce it and integrate it into my page. I am not confident that I can edit the HTML adequately to make it work on my site if the Deluxe Maker did nod not generate it. I will look at this again and see if I reinstall the deluxe tuner whether it will generate the data for the vertical tabs.
