Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

I would like to know if there are some possibilities to set the x coordinate of the submenus. I would like to have a tree menu with submenus which are not moving to the right when expanding the main menu but staying under it.

A: You can only try to use the following parameter to change submenuposition:

Q: Is it possible for a javascript navigation barr item to have an associated "target"?

What I mean is I'd like to be able to open the page in a new window, so I'd need to specify the href as well as "target=_new" (in HTML anyway).

A: You can set target parameter for all items:
  var itemTarget="_blank";

Where main - is the name of the main middle frame where you want to open the link.

or for each item individually:

Q: I need a way to change tabs with buttons AFTER THE PAGE IS RENDERED. This means bselecteditem is useless to me at this point.

I want to have a button called NEXT on TAB 1, and when you press that button, it switches you to TAB 2. Likewise on TAB 2 I want to have a button called NEXT that when pressed will switch you to TAB 3.

I don't want to have to post back to the server to make this work, I want a way of Javascript to change the tab indexes.

How can I do this?


A: Try to use the following function:

LTb0(menuN,itemN);

menuN - menu ID, starts with 0
itemN - item ID, starts with 0


Q: Could I create a function that displays thetab that the user clicked in the left tab menu.
These tabs are all within the same window, sothe page will always be the same.
Just need a function to make differenttabs appear.

A: Unfortunately Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions now.

You can use the following function to open specific tab:
dtabs_itemClick(menuInd,itemInd);
where
menuInd - index of a tab menu on a page, >= 0.
itemInd - index of a item, >=0.

For example:
