Q: The spacing between each item of the top horizontal dropdown menu is uneven but I don't know why.

If you highlight them all it becomes more obvious.

It is almost as if the space after a 2 word link is twice the space after a one word link or else the total space after each link is related to the number of letters in the link.

For example the space after 'Discounts' is greater than the space after 'Home' but the space after 'Envelope Printing' is even greater.

A: You can try to set the following horizontal dropdown menu parameters:

  var itemPadding="0px 10px 0px 10px";



Q: I can't get the hand pointer to work with my dhtml menu scripts in firefox and IE. I know that firefox requires the itemCursor to be set to pointer, but it doesn't work for all links in my menus. I believe that this worked in past version of deluxe-menu, but stopped working somewhere along the way. To recreate this, create a horizontal menu, and set the pressedItem to be one of the menu items and set the itemCursor to be "pointer". Then, you'll see that the pressed item's pointer is the finger icon, but the other menu items are just the arrow. Is there something I'm doing wrong or a setting that will fix this?

A: No, the reason is not in the pressed item.

See when you set:
  var itemCursor="pointer";

your cursor will be a hand for the items with url only. For the itemswithout url it will be default arrow.



Q: We are evaluating your product Deluxe Tree-menu.

We want that when user clicks an item, then load other page. This other page also conatains the tree menu. But, we are looking for how we have to do for the previously clicked menu items in java (in the previous page) remains highlighted for inform to user what is his current page/selection.

We know toggleMode feature, but after the second page loads, the clicked item does not remain higlighted.

It is possible to achieve this behavior with your product???

A: You should use API functions in that case

Q: I can see that you can have multi menus on the same page can you have multi tabs?  I did create two different tab menus and when I put them on the same page they display correctly but you cannot navigate to the required web pages.

A: You can use as many tabs on the one page as you want.

But notice that you should call dtabs.js file on each page only once.
There is no need to call it several times on the one page.
