I am talking about TREE menu.


A: If you want to open url or a file when you click on items of the tree menu you can write, for example:

Q: I'm trying to install the menu. (I'm developping a new site im Dreamweaver). It does not work. Please help me.


A: Сould you write what exact problems do you have with themenu?

Deluxe Menu wasn't developed as Dreamweaver/FrontpageBuilder extension,
BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files. To install the menuinto your html page:

1. open the page in Dreamweaver/Frontpage
2. open html source code of the page
3. add several rows of code (<script> tags), For info see: http://deluxe-menu.com/installation-info.html

Q: Trying to install XP style floating dhtml slide down menu but have these problems:

- Menu does not stay within table cell
- Is not floating

A: > - DHTML slide down menu does not stay within table cell

You're using the floating feature now. Your dhtml slide down menu will float withabsolute position only. So, now you have:

  var tleft="1px";
  var ttop="1px";

That is why your dhtml slide down menu does not stay within table cell and hasabsolute position.

Q: I am a registered user, and I really like your menu system.

With my old menu system the user could right click on a menu item and the browser would display an option to open the page in a "New Tab".

Is there any way in the javascript menu html to allow the user to choose to open a link in a new tab?.

My users are restricted to using IE.
