Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

Q: Is it possible to insert a dhtml foldout menu item at the top of the submenu? For example, if a dhtml foldout menu is defined as:

Q: I use menu with color graphic buttons, I believe the color buttons locate in @BOOK1\@Test_BOOK1.files.
At this directory level(please look in Book1.zip), the display is OK,

However, if I click on "06) Introduction.to.Small-Signal.Amplifiers\<>>(06_IT.htm)" to move to the next level, the color buttons will not display properly.

Can I set pointer that tells file 06_IT.htm that I have "@Test_BOOK1.files" in "@BOOK1" folder?


A: You can use additional parameters to make menu paths absolute:

  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

These parameters allow to make images and links paths absolute.
For example:

  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

  var menuItems = [
["text", "index.html", "icon1.gif", "icon2.gif"],
];

So, link path will be look so:
http://domain.com/pages/index.html

Images paths will be look so:
http://domain.com/images/icon1.gif
http://domain.com/images/icon2.gif

Please, try to use these parameters.

A: You can try to use Deluxe Menu - this is a newer version of DHTMLMenu. You can use the following parameters there:

Q: Hello we have a javascript menu on our site. I want to know howcan we have our vertical drop menu appear for people who do not have javascript enabled on their computer? A: When your security settings in IE doesn't allow Javascript onpages you load you can't see a dynamic page content. So, you cannotsee your javascript menu at all.

There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in othercase there are no reasons to create security preferences.

You can use search engine friendly code, so you'll see all yourlinks (for the main items and submenus) when your security settings in IE doesn't allow Javascript.

Deluxe Menu is a search engine friendly menu since v1.12.
To create a search engine friendly menu you should add additional html code within your html page:
