Q: Is there a way to make the vertical drop down menu dhtml not reset after a link is clicked. Now every time I click a link in the tree menu it takes me to the linked page but all the menus re-expand.

A: When user clicks the link, the browser loads a new page and the script re-create the vertical drop down menu dhtml.
If you want to open the needed section automatically on load you can use the following:

1. Save the state to cookies

Q: The window open javascript are loading as the page loads, as well as when you click the appropriate object. How can we prevent the pre-loading of pop-ups so that they only load onclick?

A: In that case you shouldn't set openAfter and closeAfter parameters.

So, you'll have:

or

Q: Just wondering if it's possible to have the sub menu of my collapsible dhtml menu that appear when the "+" is clicked stay open when another page loads. I tried downloading the trial version & can't get that to happen.

Click on "web development" and then "web design portfolio" - when the new page loads the menu closes. Is it possible to have it remember which sub menus were showing when the new page loads?
