Q: I can not however find the option to move submenus closer together, I have too much ident for my taste.
How can I change that, by hand if that is the only way...

A: If you don't want to have icons before item text you can write so:

Your items will be closer to the "+" buttons.


Q: Tree menu doesn't display properly in Firefox or IE7. Could you give me advice on how to correct this problem? The menu creates black 'blinds' horizontally across the page. Since IE7 will be rolling out soon I need to get this corrected sometime in the next couple weeks.


A: Try to specify units in "px".

It's necessary to specify exact value for Mozilla browsers. It helps to position menus correctly.


Q: Is there a way to change the height of the main buttons in Dhtml Menu. When I use the GUI tool there is nowhere to change the main button height. And when I tried to change it in the script file, it did me no good. I want all of the main buttons to be the same size.

A: You can use standard <img> object to set menu height, for example:
