Q: Is there anyway of selecting the tab in mouse over tab menu according to what webpage you are on ?

A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return the
selected tab aslo.

You can set "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parameters
based on your link before you call your data file.

For example, move "  var bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parameters
from your data file to your code.

A: Actually we're using our menu on several sites and we don't have such problems.

We haven't heard about such problem with the menu from our customers too.

Q: I wanted to know how to hide/ disable a menu item for a particular user/roleid in dreamweaver dhtml menu..

You can try to use API functions in that case:

function dm_ext_changeItemVisibility (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, visibility)

To disable items you should set the target parameter to "_".

You can try to use the following function

function disable()

dm_ext_changeItem(0, 1, 1, ["", "", "", "", "", "_"]);

}

to disable your items.



Q: If I don't set   var tabMode=1 instead of   var tabMode=0 in drop menu maker the links will not work at all.

A: See in Deluxe Tabs there are two modes:
1.   var tabMode=0;
You can create only one level of tabs and assign Object Id's of theDIV's to show when you click on the tab.
