  • Build right-click menus for your site. For this purpose you should appoint a peculiar method for the object you want. The current X,Y of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the context menu.
  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. To view all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automagically scrolled! Q: How can we add a css horizontal dropdown menu separator? I’ve tried the following code but it only adds a menu item with the text “|-“ which is unselectable.

A: You should add separator without "|" symbol:

dm_ext_addItem(0, 1, ["-"], 1);



Q: Would it be possible to introduce more font decoration options to the mouseover variables for the horizontal navigation?I would like to add bold as a mouseover font decoration, but obviously this is not possible at the moment.


A: Unfortunately, Deluxe Menu doesn't have such a feature.
You can onlyset it's color. You cannot set the font of menu item bold when selected.

Q: I\'m testing out your menu system and I have a question regarding one of our current menu item\'s functionality.

Currently, I have a menu item that performs an onclick window.open function so that it opens a popup window at a certain size and with certain parameters.
Is it possible to have similar functionality with an item on your menu system?


A: You should use a Javascript code with a link field so:

Q: Thank you for the information. I have been successful in getting the drop down menu select to appear on my index.htm file.

I'm having some problems fine tuning it. I placed the code and files as indicated on the file. What I get is a menu appearing at the top of the page and a link titled: Trial Version where I want the menu to appear.

The other problem I am having is that the drop down menu select is left justified and I would like it to be centered on my page (table).

A: Check that you're using relative position for the drop down menu select. You shouldset:
