  • Use a mouse to drag a menu as a usual window. Also you can construct the menu where each submenu can be "detached" from the main menu (MSOfficeToolbarLike mode).

Q: I wanted to ask a question about your software, we just purchased the multi license for Deluxe flash dropdown menu. We were trying in many ways to control the width between the words

We were trying to control the width between Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia, Oceania, Africa

We wanted to set the width as 16% to make them all equal with a 100% width flash dropdown menu but it did not work out for us. We tried to do it with creating an Individual style in the Item Style for all the top links. Can you please advise how are we supposed to achieve that?

A: Unfortunately it is not possible to set now:

  var menuWidth="100%";

];

To set the exact width for all flash dropdown menu items you should set width in 'px'.

Q: I can not figure out how you put the arrow that shows there's more information in the php drop down menu?
I tried and tried to figure it out where you add this .gif file?

A: You should set the following parameters in your data.js file:

  var arrowImageMain=["deluxe-menu.files/arrowmain.gif","deluxe-menu.files/arrowmaino.gif"];
//Normal and mouseover arrow images for top-level items.

  var arrowImageSub=["deluxe-menu.files/arrowsub.gif","deluxe-menu.files/arrowsubo.gif"];
// Normal and mouseover arrow images for submenu items.

You can set these parameters in Deluxe Tuner also:

Open 'Icons' section in the main window and set   var arrowImageMain and   var arrowImageSubparameters.



Q: Is there a different type of menu, other than the way I have it set up, such as the tree type, that might load faster or take up less space when the page loads?


A: You should set

create .js files with your submenus and call this files from your mainfile, for example:

Add dmenu_ajax.js file in the same folder with your dmenu.js file.

Try that.


Q: In DeluxeTuner when I choose an image and use my own path DeluxeTuner always sticks it's own path (data.files/) into the .js file.
Then I have to go into the data.js file and re-edit the path manually.


A: If you use Tuner, you should save data .js file before you'll selectimages. When you save .js file it means that you set a root directoryfor the project, so Tuner can make all selected images with relativepaths.
