  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! Q: I would like to know how to put the items for the popup menu on multiple lines (i.e. create a line feed), how do I tell my code to start a new menu item on the NEXT line?

A: There are 2 ways to do that:

1. set

  var noWrap=0;

2. use
tags, for example:

Q: Is it possible for a javascript navigation barr item to have an associated "target"?

What I mean is I'd like to be able to open the page in a new window, so I'd need to specify the href as well as "target=_new" (in HTML anyway).

A: You can set target parameter for all items:
  var itemTarget="_blank";

Where main - is the name of the main middle frame where you want to open the link.

or for each item individually:

Q: I should mean the font style that I failed to update after I have selected and assign font as shown in the pic above.

Step 1. using the sample data file
Step 2. select the font section of the Parameter Step3. click the font style and a window box will show up all the installed fonts
Step4. the default font is Tahoma, so I change it Times Roman
Step5. select Times Roman and click the Assign Font button There is no response with or without option Auto

The style font box did not update nor the preview


A: You should click OK button, not "Assign Font" button when you choosethe font. It is possible that you have to click "Update" button on the"Preview" window.


Q: I got your non-profit license a couple of days ago and I’m putting all the pieces together. I appreciate the license. I am having a problem with css styles. I have my site set up with css but can’t figure out how to get deluxe menu to see the css. I have read through the help and examples. I feel so dense. When I set the parameter to 1 what else do I need to see the styles?


A: We have several examples of the menus using css.

You should set   var cssStyle=1; parameter and then assign your stylesto the items.

  var cssSubmenu is a CSS class name for all submenus. You can set, forexample, background color, background image, borders for all submenus.

  var cssItem is CSS class names for all items (normal state, mouseoverstate) in the top menu and submenus.

  var cssItemText is CSS class names for text of all items (normalstate, mouseover state) in the top menu and submenus.

It's possible to appoint individual CSS styles for separate elements of the menu using individual item styles and individual submenu styles.
