Q: Does your product generate the page code or is t a dll I have to use? Reason I ask is because we store our menu stuff with image references in a db. If your product outputs code for the menu, then I can use that and in my own code I can place/substitute values and work with it from there.

A: We have an .exe file - Deluxe tuner.
It generates .js files with menu parameters.
You can also export your menu to .html file.

You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.
However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so, you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:

Q: I have just downloaded your trial version and am trying to use java menu maker using the windows xpstyle1 template. I can only seem to get the top button showing as grey but can change colors of submenus OK. Am I missing something or is this a restriction of the trial system i.e. how do I get the top button showing the same as submenu buttons

A: Trial version of java menu maker has full functionality of the licensed version.

To change submenu colors you should change the following parameters:

  var menuBackColor="#F2F3F2";
  var itemBackColor=["#F2F3F2","#535353"];
and Individual Submenu Style:

Q: If i use windows tree menu and published on my web site it is default all menu and submenu areopened . I want that all menu is default closed if user click on main menu itwill be opened submenu. Please wich parameters i have to change. Please help me

A: You should set the following parameter:
  var texpanded=0;

Check also that you don't have '+' sign before item's text in the top items, for example:
["+Home","", "", "", "", "", "", "0", "", ],
...
["+Item1","", "", "", "", "", "", "0", "", ],


Q: We had a strange problem with the menus when the sub menus are over applet in https: the applet disappeared.

After doing some Investigation in your code we noticed that you are using in HTTPS mode div instead of Iframe.

We would be happy if you can tell us why you are using div in this mode and if we will use http mode will it cause something that can affect the menus


A: Iframes don't work on https:// websites. You'll get warning message. That's why we're using <div> tag.If for some reasons a submenu can't drop down over an object the latterwill be hidden for a time when the submenu is shown.

If you use Deluxe Menu on https:// website, submenus won't drop downover select boxes within iframe objects. It works fine on a non-secureservers only.
