When I bring the Template up I dont see this option on the sample menu. I'm I missing something or do I need to add it. If I need to add it can you explain to me how to do it.

A: You are able to paste any html code within java expanding menu items.

You should write your own code within tmenuItem.



Q: There is a default gap between two collapsible javascript menu buttons. Suppose the two menu are "Company profile" and "Service", there is a default gap between those tow , it is not taking the specified space( for example I am putting 2px gap but it is taking a default gap) Please suggest me the solution for the same.

A: You should use new parameter in the data file:

Q: My site requires me to regularly update the drop down menu by inserting a new item at the top of the list.


A: Add items using the following function:

function dm_ext_addItemPos (menuInd, submenuInd, iParams, Pos)

Adds the new item to a submenu.

menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.

iParams = [array] - the array of item parameters.
This parameter has the same structure as an item in menuItems array.
You can assign parameters of another existent item of the menu
(for example, when you want to create a duplicate of the existent item) or create new ones.

Structure of iParams:
[item_text, link, icon_normal, icon_over, tip, target, individual_style_index, jsFilename]
Pos - the position in the menu where you want to add new item.

Q: I can't figure out how to get menu items to swap images to use like a traditional image rollover. In the Dhtml menu, I can change the style background without needing images, or I can use generic images as a background, but I have situations where I need to use unique images for each state of a button.

These unique image buttons contain text and graphics, and there are different images for different states: normal, mouse over, mouse down.


A: The menu has only two states normal and mouseover.
You should use Individual Item Styles.
