Q: I purchased the right to use deluxe-menu because I liked how it worked versus my old menu which is your competitor (milonic menu) in the javascript driven menu market.
However, after using your menu for a few months, I have discovered a problem. When I bought the menu, the claim was made it worked with all doctypes. I use "strict" on my web site and want my pages to validate as strict with W3C or WDG validators.
I get a notice of incorrect copyright when I remove the link to yoursite in the heading of the document. Since this line does not validate,I feel that you should provide an adequate alternative to having a unsubstantiated line in your html code. I have looked over the FAQ on your site and have found no remedy. You have a wonderful product and I wish to continue to use your menu. But this one little bugaboo surely can be fixed on your end by altering the requirement to keep the incorrect copyright from appearing even though it shouldn't appear in my opinion.
For instance, I can alter the line and make the link invisible.
Example: <noscript><a href="http://deluxe-menu.com"></a></noscript>
By making the link invisible with no text, it will mean nobody would see the blatant ad for your site. The incorrect copyright notice does not appear under those circumstances, however it still does not validate.
I just want to create web pages that validate! Please help me as a struggling web author to achieve my goal and still use your menu which I paid for! Thanks for any help you can give me.

Try to move <noscript> tag into the <body> tag.
Q: Do you by chance have the dhtml menu samples working with XML?
A: Unfortunately we don't have working example.
You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so,you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:

At this time I am making plain text or table based menus and getting tired of having to add the drop menus to EVERY page individually in our little intra-web. I would like to purchase software that makes groovy looking menus, but also get the information needed to have them appear on ALL pages after editing the menu once if you know what I mean.
Unfortunately my web authoring experience is best suited to circa-1996 web pages I can hash out in notepad in my sleep. However, I have been told in order to do what I am doing I need to use CSS or styles or cascading stylesheets and not sure if your software will do that.
If I purchase this software and whip up a neat little menu, would you be able to send me information on how to include it in a css as I described above? I would essentially need to know the code or commands to have it appear in all of the pages I create, once I make the menu file. If that is something you can assist me with, I can purchase this right away.
A: Deluxe Menu is Javascript code only. It requires several .js files andit's generated on a client side.
If you don't want to create your drop menus on each page, you can try to useframes, the menu has a cross-frame mode. Also you can use aserver-side script (php, asp, vb, etc.) to generate html pages fromtemplates on your server.
Q: Things are mostly working great. I want my menu to appear centered at the top the page. Here's the code:

The table appears at the far left edge of the window. I tried with both absolute (x=20, y=10) and relative (both x and y unset) coordinates. Help!
A: If you want to center the menu paste itwithin the <div > or <table> with a static position and specify a center alignment for it, for example:

Please, set exact value for var menuWidth parameter, for example:
var menuWidth = "600px";
This can help to align your menu correctly in all browsers.
Try also to specify units in "px".
