  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! Q: I use your deluxe menu for my personal website and want to use it for a client site that we are putting together at work. However, there is one challenge. Some of the sites we build for our clients are internal only and do not have a proper domain name. In the case of my current client, the site answer to a servername call from within the network. Eg. http://WebServer1/ . They will NOT have a proper domain name (eg www.mysite.com). So, my question is, how can we purchase a license and have this work? Does your licensing need to be tied to a domain name to work? Also, the client has not yet confirmed the server name. How will this work?


A: You need to register the hostname of the website (as appears in the URL, for examplehttp://yourintranet/ , http://WebServer1/).

In you case you should register "WebServer1".

Single and Multiple Website licenses are bound to a domain name.
Developer License - this version of the script doesn't check keys and it isn't bound to a domain name,so it can be used with an application that doesn't have a fixed domain name.

For your new client you can buy Single Website License. You can alsoupgrade to Multiple Website license for the price difference and generate your own keys for theclients or you can upgrade to Developer License.


Q: First I want to thank you for the great support you provided. I have another question about the dynamic javascript tree. Is there a javascript API to fire an user click event so the browser will load proper page accordingly? I looked around the current APIs from your site and could not find one.

A: You can use dtreet_ext_userClick (itemID) function.

Actually you can use your own Javascript code instead standard links and html code inside item text. For example:

Q: I have a Dynamic tree menu now.

Can I change the style of expandable javascript menu on the fly when I click the style menu items of the tree I made?

A: Theoretically you can do it.

Try to use

function and call

function dtreet_ext_changeItem (menuInd, itemID, itemParams)

function in it.

You should create Individual item style for this item and and assignthis style when you click on the item.



Q: I have just downloaded your trial version and am trying to use java menu maker using the windows xpstyle1 template. I can only seem to get the top button showing as grey but can change colors of submenus OK. Am I missing something or is this a restriction of the trial system i.e. how do I get the top button showing the same as submenu buttons

A: Trial version of java menu maker has full functionality of the licensed version.

To change submenu colors you should change the following parameters:

and Individual Submenu Style:
