Recent Questions

Q: I see most of the sub-menus of the navigation bar (if there is space on the left side),
they are opening on the left side instead of right side..Could you please let me know how to fix it.

A: You should change the following parameter:

  var subMenuAlign="right";

to

  var subMenuAlign="left";




Q: Both arrow types are visible when my intranet first loads and when I select a top item that is a direct link to a page.
But, as soon as I select any item from a list of sub items that includes subitems with arrows,
the arrow images disappear from vertical menu until I refresh the site.

A: You can use additional parameters to make menu paths absolute:

  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

These parameters allow to make images and links paths absolute.
For example:

  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

  var menuItems = [
["text", "index.html", "icon1.gif", "icon2.gif"],
];

So, link path will be look so:
http://domain.com/pages/index.html

Images paths will be look so:
http://domain.com/images/icon1.gif
http://domain.com/images/icon2.gif

Q: I want create a vertical dropdown menu with vertical - Submenu's. Is this possible?

A: You should set the following parameters to create vertical menu:

  var isHorizontal=0;
  var smOrientation=0;




Q: I am Registered user.
My question is:
Can you have borders around the sub-menus only. If you can how is this done, if it is done in the individual styles can you walk me through that. I tried it there but for some reason it wasn’t working. I'm thinking I wasn’t selecting the correct item to edit.


A: You should create Individual style and assign it to the first item in each submenu.
