Q: I cannot see the shadow on the top items of the menu. Can you help me?


A: Now you have shadow the submenus only, if you want to have shadowfor the top items you should set the following parameters:

You can see the shadow in Internet Explorer 5+ only.

Q: How do you center the text within the top-level menu cels for the xml drop down menu?
There doesn't seem to be a setting for it in the tuner.
There's a justification option for the sub-menus, but not for the top.

A: Use the following parameter to specify align for the top items:

  var itemAlignTop="center";

Q: Is there a way to change the height of the main buttons in Dhtml Menu. When I use the GUI tool there is nowhere to change the main button height. And when I tried to change it in the script file, it did me no good. I want all of the main buttons to be the same size.

A: You can use standard <img> object to set menu height, for example:

Q: Can you tell me what fields control the lines around the top level of menu items?
What fields control the lines around each sub-menu item?
I would like to test and see if the program will allow me to create a top menu that displays as follows:
Home   |   Proposal Reponses   |   Marketing Info   |

As you can see I would like no borders around the top level and a tilda (vertical line) separator between each top level menu item.

For the sub-menu items I would like there to be a thin line box around the sub-menu but no lines in between each item within the sub-menu. What fields control these paramenters?

Yes, you can create such menu.

Please, use Individual styles.

Set these parameters:

To add lines between main items you can paste the separators.
