Q: I have a problem...
On some computers running IE the menu appears and works correctly, on others it doesn't appear.
There is only a line that says JavaScript Menu by Deluxe-Menu.com.
Both of these computers have the same version of IE running. I have reset the security levels back to default levels on both. Still the menu doesn't appear.
For all practical purposes both copies of IE are the same.


A: You should change your security settings in IE to allow Javascript onpages you load. In other case you can't see a dynamic page content.
There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in othercase there are no reasons to create security preferences.

You can also use Deluxe Tuner application that allows you to generate additional html code for search engine that can't parse Javascript. So, you can use menu links on browsers that doesn't have Javascript support enabled.


Q: If i use windows tree menu and published on my web site it is default all menu and submenu areopened . I want that all menu is default closed if user click on main menu itwill be opened submenu. Please wich parameters i have to change. Please help me

A: You should set the following parameter:
  var texpanded=0;

Check also that you don't have '+' sign before item's text in the top items, for example:
["+Home","", "", "", "", "", "", "0", "", ],
...
["+Item1","", "", "", "", "", "", "0", "", ],

Where can I get a template or instructions on which parameters I ammisunderstanding in deluxe tuner?

I want a menu with the expandable + signs on the left which will expandon rollover and allow only one to be expanded at the same time.


A: You should set the following parameters

  var texpandItemClick = 1;
  var tcloseExpanded = 1;
  var tcloseExpandedXP = 1;

Try to do it in the new Deluxe Tuner beta version. We've fixed somebugs with these parameters in the new version.


Q: First, i like the time I save with this program, but it isn't going to help me that much if I can't put the menu where I want it on my page.

No matter how I set the "positioning", it shows up in exactly the same place over and over. I've put it in table cells, I've given it absolute positioning... none of it matters.


A: If you want to center the menu paste itwithin the <div> or <table> with a static position and specify a center alignment for it, for example:

Please, set exact value for   var menuWidth parameter, for example:

  var menuWidth = "600px";
This can help to align your menu correctly in all browsers.
Try also to specify units in "px".
Set also:
  var absolutePos = 0;

Try that.
