Q: I'm trying to evaluate the possiblity of using your menu in our product. Can we specify our own onclick event handler for the menu item?


A: You're able to use Javascript for each item, for example:

  var menuitems = [
["item text", "javascript:your_code_here"]
];

Unfortunately, you can't assign onmouseover/onClick event to each item.
However, you can achieve this by using standard html objects within items, for example:

  var menuitems = [
["<div onClick='your_code_here'>item text</div>", "index.html"]
];


Q: My slide drop down menu appears at the top of the page rather than in the cell in which I placed it

A: You're using absolute position for the menu now:

  var absolutePos=1;

You should use the relative position:

  var absolutePos=0;



Q: I can not figure out how you put the arrow that shows there's more information in the php drop down menu?
I tried and tried to figure it out where you add this .gif file?

A: You should set the following parameters in your data.js file:

  var arrowImageMain=["deluxe-menu.files/arrowmain.gif","deluxe-menu.files/arrowmaino.gif"];
//Normal and mouseover arrow images for top-level items.

  var arrowImageSub=["deluxe-menu.files/arrowsub.gif","deluxe-menu.files/arrowsubo.gif"];

You can set these parameters in Deluxe Tuner also:

Open 'Icons' section in the main window and set   var arrowImageMain and   var arrowImageSubparameters.



Q: Java sub menu not working after upgrade to deluxe menu 3.0. Please check.

A: See, you've set the following parameter:

  var transparency="0";

That is mean that your submenus will be transparent. You won't seethem.

Try to set another value, for example:

  var transparency="100";
