This won't work the java script executes when the link is clicked it is not the link itself.

You can use

NewWindow(this.href,'name','490','400','yes');

code in an item link:

["text", "javascript:NewWindow(url,'name','490','400','yes');"]

But if you don't want that, you can just insert <a> into an item text.


Q: Is there a instruction manual on how to use all the features of javascript for dropdown menu? The "help" screen does not give detailed instructions of all the Parameters, Appearance, Individual Style features, Item Parameters, etc. etc.

Q: After creating and using a menu, is it possible to insert/change the position of a menu item?

For instance, I am using years in a submenu and the current year always needs to be at the top.

Is this possible with drag and drop or by some other means in the Tuner v2?

To select a group of items you can use Shift and Ctrl keys.

To rename an item click on it and hold a mouse cursor for a second. Or use item parameters window.

To move items select items you want and use a mouse drag'n'drop method.

To copy items select those you want and use a mouse drag'n'drop method holding a Ctrl key.Also you can use a contextual menu - a right mouse click on the list of items.


Q: I am interested in purchasing the "Microsoft Like Style Dhtml Tabs Menu" and would like to know if the tab menu horizontal java, roll over and selected colors are controllable? meaning if I want green (not blue) tab I can have the tabs green. Please let me know

A: Unfortunately you cannot change the color of this template in DeluxeTuner, as it is image-based tab menu horizontal java.

If you want to change the color of this template you should changeimages. You can do it in any Graph editor, for example in PhotoShop.
