Q: Some menu entries may be disabled and clicking on them should produce predefined javascript alert message?


A: To create disabled items you should set "_" symbol in the targetparameter of the menuItems.
If the target is "_" the item is disabled.
You can assign a font color for all disabled items using the following menu parameter:
  var fontColorDisabled = "#AAAAAA";
You can write a javascript code instead of an item link:

["item text", "javascript:alert('Hello World')", , , ,"_",]

That's all.


Q: There is the possibility in the menu that an item has access control, that is is visible or not depending of the user?


A: You can use Javascript API and write your own code.

You can use

dm_ext_changeItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, iParams)
to disable your items or

dm_ext_changeItemVisibility (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, visibility)
to hide your items.


Q: I would like, that not only the text is represented differently when dhtml nav menu item is expanded, also the Icon separates before it at the side where I am.

iconarrs.gif is not right
iconarrs_aktiv.gif is right
