Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

  • Build right-click menus for your site. For this purpose you should appoint a peculiar method for the object you want. The current X,Y of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the context menu.
  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. To view all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automagically scrolled! Q: Recently one of my clients apparently upgraded from Internet Explorer 6+ to 7. Along the way now apparently the javascript is no enabled.
How do I enable javascript on the new browser, and / o is there something else that I need to do in the code?


A: When your security settings in IE doesn't allow Javascript onpages you load you can't see a dynamic page content.

There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in othercase there are no reasons to create security preferences.

Deluxe Menu is a search engine friendly menu since v1.12.
To create a search engine friendly menu you should add additional html code within your html page:

To generate such a code use Deluxe Tuner application.
You can find this GUI in the trial package.

Q: Is there a way to expand only the menus and not the submenus in the collapse tree menu?

A: You can set expanded items by default.

If you want to expand specific items by default you should set "+"symbol at the beginning of item text.

Q: I am developing a site where the customer does not want any transition effects within the IE browser.
I want to emulate the above mentioned browsers with the same transition.
When mousing over javascript flyout menu - the submenu should appear with no effect.

A: To turn off transitional effects you should set the following parameters:

Q: Just purchased the license for deluxe-menu.

The javascript submenu do not go over top of my other elements like the FAQ says it should.

A: Now you have the following style Z-INDEX: 2000; for .titleTopCenterDIV.

The menu has lower index in that case.

Try to set it to
Z-INDEX: 10;
