Q: Does this mean that nothing needs to be installed on the server side to make javascript menu?
Here is why I am asking this:
We have a main "corporate" web site, which is going to use the Deluxe Menu. One of the links on the main site will launch a page, which is running on a separate web server (physically separate server, and not a load-balancing scenario). Since all of these pages should look identical to the users, they all have to use the exact same configuration and look&feel in Deluxe Menu. I was wondering if any "configuration" type settings are stored on the server. In other words, would we have to maintain the Deluxe Menu install on two separate servers?
A: There is no need to install anything on your server. You should onlycopy a folder with all engine files (dmenu.js, dmenu_add.js, ...) anddata file on your server. Then you should call these files on yourpages, for example:

Actually you can copy deluxe menu files on the one server only anduse absolute paths.Q: Thanks for your information, and the program is very useful and user friendly compare with others.
But I have a question, pls see the following example.
inside the menu.js (the file which we will run as navigation bar)

however, as we have some links will have different values as the end (have problem running at the menu)

there is having a dynamic value at the end

Any suggestion for this case? or you can give us some example?

</script>Q: Why is it that when we place a drop menu ina div that the droppping part is not right uner the menu? The menu on top banner is the problem.. Thesame code outside of a div futher down the page works fine.
I can place the same menu outside of the div and it works fine.When it is in a div the drop part of the menu is pushed to the far right of the screen.
A: Brian, see, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
In other words, you can't get the value of "POSITION: absolute" attribute of the object if the object doesn't have this property within inline style (style="POSITION:absolute;"). To get the value you should move .css style into style="" attribute.
Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css, for example:
You should add style="POSITION: absolute;"
to the
<div id="menu">
So, you'll have:
<DIV id="menu" style="POSITION: absolute;">
