Q: Greetings. How do I make a menu item as default selected and open when the page loads with the dhtml menu bar script? Thanks.

A: Deluxe Menu has only two states normal and mouseover.

Try to do the following things:

- delete   var pressedItem=1; parameter from your data file
- set correct parameter on each page before you call data file, forexample:

You can also set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)

Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a dhtml menu bar script on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.

But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem. You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.



Q: Do I have the ability to change colors for the menus and the sub menus?

A: You can use different colors for each item and subitem of the menu.
You should use individual item styles.

Q: Do you have a product that serves as a cascading drop down menu where you can override the width of the display?

A: You can use "smart scrolling" feature in this case for the Deluxe Menu.
To disable/enable the "smart scrolling" for the main items and submenus use the following javascript scrolling menu parameters:

  var smSmartScroll = 1;
  var topSmartScroll = 1; (works if   var menuWidth isn't empty)

You can also specify height and width for each separate submenu using the following menu parameters:

  var smWidth = "100px";
  var smHeight = "300px";

Q: I am interested in purchasing the "Microsoft Like Style Dhtml Tabs Menu" and would like to know if the tab menu horizontal java, roll over and selected colors are controllable? meaning if I want green (not blue) tab I can have the tabs green. Please let me know

A: Unfortunately you cannot change the color of this template in DeluxeTuner, as it is image-based tab menu horizontal java.

If you want to change the color of this template you should changeimages. You can do it in any Graph editor, for example in PhotoShop.
