Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

  • Apply any font of any color, size and font decoration you need. Use any available type, color and thickness of a menu's frame. Choose any color for submenus and items backgrounds.
  • Set the size of the menu in percent, pixels, or other units. This menu may have a relative (it can be inserted into the table, for example) or absolute position .
  • Specify various values for spacing and padding for the whole menu and for each separate submenu.
  • You can specify a time for delays in showing or hiding of a submenu. Use special prefixes for image paths and links to make paths absolute.
  • Create separators using your own pictures, size and alignment.

Q: We do need the menuitem separation bars as most of the menuitems are quit lengthy, and there needs to be a separation bar to distinguish between them.

A: If you want to add separators between items you can paste a separatorbetween items or you can set item's border width in the following way:

  var itemBorderWidth="0 0 1 0";
But you cannot enter this value in Deluxe Tuner you should set thisparameter manually.
You can also create style for the last item with border width = 0:

Q: I am interested in purchasing your product for use in my company's website code. My clients are not tech-savy, and I do not want to include any code that will generate concern or problems on the user end.

Is there a way to use the JavaScript menus without generating the warning as mentioned in the subject? I know how to allow the active content on my web browser, but I want code that will not require such actions on their browsers.

Your clients should check browser settings.
Unfortunately, we can't affect on the browser behavior in this case.


Q: How to work with menus and submenus in JSP?

A: Deluxe Menu is the Javascript product. It means that it works on aclient side only and it doesn't depend on the server which you'reusing and it doesn't work on a server side as JSP script.

So, you can create the menu using standard html page and them movemenu code within .jsp page.


Q: I can not figure out how to build tab drop down menus?

A: See in Deluxe Tabs there are two modes:

You can create only one level of tabs and assign Object Id's of the
DIV's to show when you click on the tab.
