I don't know what's happenning I followed the instructions that you describe in your installation process. I'm using the menu in a jsp page.


A: Now on your page you have only search engine friendly code for Deluxe Menu. You do not have menu.

See more info about the installation of the menu here:

You should paste also such lines, for example:

<script type="text/javascript" src="deluxe-menu.files/dmenu.js"></script>

and

<script type="text/javascript" src="deluxe-menu.files/data.js"></script>

Where data.js is the file with your menu. You can create such file using Deluxe Tuner.

You should upload this files on your server in the correct place.


Q: I am interesting to use it for integration in some CMS I am currently using, as for instance : Xoops

1. Do you think that it is possible easily to integrate your menus with the xoops database content for the texts and links ?

2. Where links are they specified in the Deluxe Tuner interface

A: 1) Deluxe Menu wasn't developed as Xoops extension,BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files.
To create and configure your menus use Deluxe Tuner application

2) You can assign link for each item. You can do it in "ItemParameter" window "Link" field.


Q: With the new version, my body onload function is blocked.
In our application we do something with a body onload function.
It doesn't get called if I use the deluxe-menu. If I remove deluxe-menu js files from html, it works.

Is there a way I can use deluxe-menu and get my onload handler called?


A: Deluxe Menu detects any user's onload events and remember them in the case when you write a such events before dm_init(); call.

Try to delete onload event from <body> and write the following at theend of a page (after dm_init() call):

<script type="text/javascript"> onload = onloadHandler;</script>

That should work.


Q: I would like first to thank you for your products.
I downloaded the trial script and it's ok except for Hebrew or Right To Left languages.

Do you have a solution for this issue ??

A: You can use right-to-left languages the same way as in standard htmlcode.
Set "dir=rtl" for <html> tag.
Try that.
