Q: I have the dynamic dropdown menu working perfectly on the main page of the website, but when I try to install it onto html files that appear in subfolders of the site, the images do not appear. I have put ../ before all the links I can find and have the following codes placed in my file, what am I doing wrong?
A: You can use additional parameters to make dynamic dropdown menu paths absolute:
var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";
These parameters allow to make images and links paths absolute.For example:
var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";
var menuItems = [
["text", "index.html", "icon1.gif", "icon2.gif"],
];
So, link path will be look so:
http://domain.com/pages/index.html
Images paths will be look so:
http://domain.com/images/icon1.gif
http://domain.com/images/icon2.gif
Please, try to use these parameters.
Q: In the item window, it says "use Ctrl jey to slect and copy items" But when I try it doesn't work.
I use Ctrl C and Ctrl V
A: To select a group of items you can use Shift and Ctrl keys.
To rename an item click on it and hold a mouse cursor for a second. Or use item parameters window.
To move items select items you want and use a mouse drag'n'drop method.
To copy items select those you want and use a mouse drag'n'drop method holding a Ctrl key.
Also you can use a contextual menu - a right mouse click on the list of items.
Q: I have the cursor set as pointer – on some of the top menu items there is no link behind it yet the cursor still turns to a pointer.
Is there any way to have it so it only becomes a pointer if there is a link?
A: Unfortunately, you can set different cursor type for the menu items.

In your website, when I click on a Tab, the content relevant to that tab appears. I understand that the site is using "div id= " method to control. However, my question is how can I code the DIV to appear in the JS file ?

This is a newer version of DHTML Tabs. It works better.
See, for each item you should assign the ID property of the contentDIV (see data file with your menu parameters).
