Q: Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to leave a main java swing menu bar item highlighted when in that section. For example if I clicked on "Contact Us" and when I am on the contact us page, the "Contact us" navigation would still be highlighted. I appreciate any help you might have, thanks!
A: The java swing menu bar has only two states normal and mouseover. We'll try to add the pressed state in the future.
You can set a pressed item using Javascript API:
function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)
Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an java swing menu bar item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.
But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem. You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.
Q: I'm trying to set the frame parameters to frame name body. I have tried seven different text items: body, _body, frame name=body, framename=body, "framename=body", the relative URL, and the exact URL in the titemTarget parameter (common parameters). Nothing seems to work. It always sets the target to a new window. What text do I need to enter for the default parameter to be the body frame target?
Also, is there a way to expand only the menus and not the submenus? There doesn't seem to be a halfway point. Either all the menus are open, or all closed. If I set the default to hidden, it is non-functional. If I set it to expanded, that's not what I'm looking for either.
The menu looks good; other than these two problems it is functioning properly.
A: Please, check the following parameter:
var titemTarget="framename";
You can also set item target for each item

You want to expand only the main items when you load your page?
If it is so you can set expanded items by default.
If you want to expand specific items by default you should set "+"symbol at the beginning of item text.

Q: I am programming in asp.net 1.1 and asp.net 2. I have a situation where the client wants to govern security with roles. Is there any functionality for deluxe tree to show/hide specific branches based on security levels (i.e. roles)?
A: You should to use API function

Q: Very interested by your product, I want to know, before buy, if I can call javascript function when the user click on a menu Items;
you have this example, but I want the possibility to call a javascript function in the client side :

Is it possible, if yes could you give the sample, because Milovic menu have a javascript:function call, what about your product ?

A: You're able to use Javascript for each item, for example:
var menuitems = [
["item text", "javascript:your_code_here"]
];
Unfortunately, you can't assign onmouseover/onClick event to each item.
However, you can achieve this by using standard html objects within items, for example:
var menuitems = [
["<div onClick='your_code_here'>item text</div>", "index.html"]
];
Unfortunately we don't have such example.
