Q: Is there a way to center floatable menus horizontally on a page?
I used to use absolutePos=0, and all of my menus were centered ok, but when I tried floatable=1 I found that I had to change toabsolutePos=1 to get the menu to float, and this messed up my centering. Since I have multiple menus of different widths, I'd rather not have to hard-code the menu width, but please let me know if there's a better way.


A: Notice, when you use floatable menu you can't use relative menu position.
So, if you use

  var absolutePos = 0;

and to center the menu you use <p> or <div> with the center alignment your menu won't float.
To center your floatable menu you should set absolute coordinates.


Q: One intern design a menu for us using MenuTuner that we bought however Menu doesn’t work in Firefox or netscape.
It works fine in Internet Explorer.
Can you help? I’m attaching the zip file which you can extract and open index.html to see what’s wrong.


A: Try to specify units in "px".
  var tmenuWidth = "230px";
It's necessary to specify exact value for Mozilla browsers. It helpsto position menus correctly.

You should set this parameter:
  var tmenuHeight = "auto";


Q: If I use the Search Engine Friendly Code feature, do I have to update or redo it each time I change the drop menu script and save, or if I do it once to the file will it automatically update on every save?

A: If you change drop menu script items (item's text and links) you should updateyour search engine friendly code. Deluxe Tuner doesn't update it onevery save (when you save your data file).

There is no need to update it when you change menu parameters only.
