Q: If I use the Search Engine Friendly Code feature, do I have to update or redo it each time I change the drop menu script and save, or if I do it once to the file will it automatically update on every save?

A: If you change drop menu script items (item's text and links) you should updateyour search engine friendly code. Deluxe Tuner doesn't update it onevery save (when you save your data file).

There is no need to update it when you change menu parameters only.



Q: After I successfully click and load the data in to my window using the tab menu, the tab defaults back to the original default tab. Because I have to reload my page after the tab has been selected the tab chosen is lost. What do you recommend for "remembering" the tab so that when the page reloads the correct tab is highlighted.

A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab aslo.

You can set "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.

For example, move "  var bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.

You should define seltabs and selsmtabs using server side script.

You can also set it on every page before you call data.js file, forexample:

Out of curiousity, how do I use the javascript calendar function? It does not appear to be an option in the Deluxe Tuner GUI.

A: We haven't added Calendar in Deluxe Tuner.
You can find it in the installed package:

C:\Program Files\Deluxe Menus\calendar\

Q: Does your menu system support imbedded check boxes? I want to be able to use menus to help users select options and want to have those selections УstickФ for the duration of their session. Do you have any examples of this?


A: Yes, you can insert any html code within menuItems, for example:
