Q: I have setup some tabs on a site that I am designing and for some reason when I click on a drop down menu links tab and it links to another page it automatically highlights the first tab in the row. I have tried fiddling with it and have not been able to figure it out. Can someone point me in the right direction to have the correct tab selected after i click it and goto the page.

A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected drop down menu links tab.

You can set "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.

For example, move "  var bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" drop down menu links parametersfrom your data file to your code.

You should define seltabs and selsmtabs using server side script.

Q: I had test on php but I have problem with content "ABC-1" not show when run page first of the tab menu javascript, anh then I click it is show content.

A: Check parameter:

  var bselectedItem = 0;

Selected tab index by default. Index is an tab number in bmenuItems array.
It Must be > = 0;


Q: I have problem with our characters also, the иж№рѕИЖ©Р® are all messed up. The program doesn't work on iso-8859-2 charset.
How can I change the charset of the code it generates? I did in templates, bt generator still generates the menu in windows-1250 charset.
Well, I can edit by hand later but...


A: You should set charset attribute on your page:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-2" />

Unfortunately, you can't see these characters correctly in Deluxe Tunerapplication.


Q: Is it possible to not download (pre-load) the images in the javascript menu array (some attributes in the data.js file ..)?

I would like to download them only on rollover on the submenu... I am aware of the ajax version of the menu, but ....

A: Set the following parameter:
  var dm_writeAll=0;
