Q: Is it possible for a javascript navigation barr item to have an associated "target"?

What I mean is I'd like to be able to open the page in a new window, so I'd need to specify the href as well as "target=_new" (in HTML anyway).

A: You can set target parameter for all items:
  var itemTarget="_blank";

Where main - is the name of the main middle frame where you want to open the link.

or for each item individually:

Q: I need a way to fix the width of the website navigation bar nomatter how long the menu content is, is there a way that this can be done.

A: You should set the exact width for the menu usinf the following parameter:

  var menuWidth="120px";
  var noWrap=0;




Q: Cross-frame mode: after clicking on a menu item and the subframe is loading and then mouse over the menu when the subframe has not finished loading a javascript error occurs and then the javascript vertical menu breaks.

A: You can get this error when you load pages from the another domain.

Deluxe Menu can support this mode for the same domain only -- ifyou loaded a page to a subframe from another domain, the submenuscan't be shown in it. It happens because all browsers don't allow todo that for security reasons. Just imagine if you'll able to create aframeset from 2 frames, 1st frame will be with a zero height-width,and you'll load your page into it. Then user will go to another domainand your "invisible" frame will change a content of other pages!



Q: I downloaded "DeLuxe Menu" and try to make a menu dynamic. I was having the impression, that every item could have it's own color. But nowhere in de program could I find how this had to be done. Every time I changed the color, weather it was under Appearance or Item Appearance, the color of the whole menu was changed.
Before I decide to buy your product, I need to know if separate coloring for the menu dynamic is possible.
