  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. Q: I still am unable to make content show for each menu with dhtml tab.

I can make it open a new webpage, but that isnt what I want.

What I want is when the visitor clicks a tab, then content for that tab shows, on the same page, and the tab menu still there.

A: See in Deluxe Tabs there are two modes:

1.   var tabMode=0;
You can create only one level of tabs and assign Object Id's of theDIV's to show when you click on the tab.

You can use Object ID as well as Link in both modes. Use the following prefixes within menu with dhtml item's link field:"object:" - means that there is object id after it;
"link:" - means that there is a link after it.
"javascript:" - means that there is a javascript code after it, for example:javascript:alert(\'Hello!\')

So, you should write for example:

Q: I would like all my submenus of the html menu to appear in the same location on the page and not relative to the parent menu item.

A: You can do it using the following parameters:

  var subMenuAlign = "left"; - Horizontal alignment for submenus.

"pleft", "pcenter", "pright" - alignment relative to the parent submenu.

  var subMenuVAlign = "top"; - Submenus vertical alignment.

"ptop", "pcenter", "pbottom" - alignment relative to the parent submenu.



Q: I've just put together a new drop down menu box for one of the sites I'm working on and whilst in IE it works fine, in FF the drop down menu box is not appearing over the Flash banner.

I don't understand why as this was put together with the latest version of Deluxe Menu - my understanding was that this issue was resolved a while back?

Can you help me sort this.

Q: When the page initially loads, the sizing of all the tabsappear the way I want them to.
The first time any of the tabs are clicked on in the dhtml tab menu, I get a little bit of white space and a faint vertical line just to the left of tab 1.


A: Try to set your tabs in the following way:
